  1. i want to learn to play the organ though
  2. grade 8 keyboard
  3. is that not 0 seconds then?
  4. yeh but i would have thought bad traits, may be passed on and on down the chain.
  5. '' A black hole has no hair'' i.e. u cannot know what whent into a black hole once it has become one with the singualrity. However it can loose mass, e.g. hawking radiation. And now those damned string theorists recond black holes are ''fuzzy''
  6. its 2, if a reactive metal is added to the acid then it will form an ionic bond with NOT the H (the other bit, NO4, SO4 etc)

    Beta Decay.

Yes i worked out that if you had 100KG water and left it for 1 year then one proton would decay
  8. yes; aparantly 'God Does play dice'
  9. what if u have only one atom?
  10. any english sites for such purchases?
  11. Th1 & 2 actually are good at helping againts Aids. Yes i was thinking today about this, and came to the conclusion that white blood cells, would see every cell they are injected into as enemies, and therefore would be a HUGELY dangerous pathogen.
  12. Right beta decay is when a neutron decays into a Positron/ Electron and netrion/ anti neutrino; my question is are there any laws regarding this or is it totally random of one of the 4 eventualities occuring; v, +e v, -e anti v, +e anti v, -e also if Beta and alpha decay occur at the same time, is just loads of helium made say, 1/1000th of an inch from the material when the particles are atracted to each other?
  13. Right imagine a Piece of Radioactive material. We have been steadily decaying for many years. Finally there is just 1 stable isotope ready to go under alpha decay. The atom has a half life of one day. But wait we cant have 1/2 a decayed atom at the end of the day, so is it totally a random chance whether the atom will decay in one day? (yes i know QM says its random anyway). Now im pretty sure the GCSE course is about to make us draw graphs that curve off and it will probably tell us it never hits the x axis, but if the answer is yes to the above question, then it must do. Or will we be tought its just slows and does (randomly) touch the x axis sometime in the future?

    balancing

well to put it simply, you need to look at the group each chemical is in. This will tell you (for lighter elements) how many gaps there are in the outer shell. So eg. We look at Magnesium oxide. We know that Magnesium has 2 spare electrons (in group 2) and we want to make 8 electrons. If Oxygen has 6, then we use the one atom of oxygen eg. Sodium. This has one spare electron, and There is 2 in oxygen, so to make it more stable we need another electron. We can use the 1 electron in hydrodgen to make NaOH
  15. erm well its more on the 'back' rather then the heel, i dont actually walk on it
  16. yes. it was
  17. Cold fusion- Contratiction-ometer- 10
  18. a) The cat knows whether its dead or alive. Its a bit arrogant to prosume if we cant see a cat there are therefore infinate universes (missing a few steps iknow)
  19. well thats what i used to do, cept it just made it more painfull
  20. i dont think it was cold fusion. You are 14 which may explain your confusion. I think you just reacted away an Al electrode into Al carbonate
  21. Firstly my neck. If i look up and 45* to the left the left of my neck hurts, like where a muscle might be compressed (that area). Secondly foot. I have a severe pain in the back of my foot (below achillies tendon) like a trapped nerve or something. I havent reasently banged it, it just hurts. I know it would be better if i saw a doctor, but it might provide more interest here.
  22. ok thanks for your replies guys. I think ill use either Coquina or Sayos nextime. Mind you i did eat sorell (sour) once and it did help.........
  23. yeh, jakiri's right. The Complete theory is only one that describes how our universe works, not how each individual bit works.

    Gain

sorry, the current then. E.g. if there (potentially) is a large current runnign through the C/E when a current goes through the Base, that is more of a factor, than the type (providing its not FET or PNP)
