Hello, how are you? Could you please help me with this question, what are the pros and cons of a president having the power of line item veto? I think one bad thing is that this would cause a change having to be made to the constitution, and i don't think this would be a good idea because then this would open the door to make aditional changes to the constitution, also it would affect the role the congress plays, the president would not need much of the congress. but also as president clinton said, this is good because helps to control wasteful spending which congress like to give aways to their districts. I'd really appreciate your help, i need somebody to guide me. thanks

hello could you tell me if 3x^2-5y^2+4x+y-10=0 is this equation describing an hyperbola? and what about Y^2 = -6x^2+36 is this an ellipse? thank you.

hello, how are you could you please provide me an answer to these questions why is there a net northward flow of surface water across the equator in the Atlantic ocean but not in the pacific ocean? During what seasons would you expect to find stable conditions in the surface layers of oceans in the tropics, at the poles and at temperate latitudes? what causes stability in each case? Here I think it has something to do with temperature and solstice months, my guess would be that in summer months is when there is better stability in the ocean layers, but don't know if that's correct, and if that same answer applies for the poles, tropics and temperate latitudes. thank you.

hello I'm asked to write the equation y= 2x^2-4x+6 in the form y= a(x-h)^2 this is what i have been doing first I divide by 2 x^2-2x+3 then I try to complete the square (x^2-2x+1)+3 (x+1)^2 now i don't know what else to do Should I multiply that one times 2 because I divided by two and then add it to 3 to get 5? and so the answer would be (x+1)^2+5 But I know that's wrong because I graphed both equations and they aren't the same graph please help me.

Hello, how are you doing could you please help me with a question about my weather class, which is giving me a hard time the question is Why there is more moisture over a desert than over the poles? our professor just told us that the reason wasn't because the atmosphere can "hold" more moisture at higher temperatures (which exist over the desert) than the colder temperatures found over the polar regions. thank you.
