  1. Err, I stand corrected. Thanks for the link YT. I guess I should stay out of the Physics sections
  2. Should have seen that one coming. Sry. The cup with the cold water will freeze the fastest as the cup with the hot or warm water has more heat in it. Therefore the excess heat must 1st be lost before you can go on to the freezing phase. Calculation? I don't think that one is necessary here.
  3. If you don't get an answer here, I bet you that someone here will(or already does) http://micro.nwfsc.noaa.gov/forums/
  4. Hydrogen bonds make the water so special.
  5. Surely, most Med Schools will have that option.
  6. Good question. I don't think that there is such a software. Why do you need it for anyway(a better elaboration of the post 1 would be nice) since that your DHCP info IS dynamic and is therefore subject to change anyway - unless you specify one manually and save it?
  7. I guess he's thinking something along the lines of that movie: "Event Horizon"
  8. Nah, that honor/title is reserved for the Vector M12
  9. I'll buy your reasoning behind the A and the C, but I don't share the same view on the B thing. Then again, to each is own, eh?
  10. Oh that's just wrong(and sick)!
  11. Here is where I have issues with Physics. How exactly do you know that you have exactly 1 ionized boron atom? Don't you need to have an electon microscope or something? How can you get to have just one atom of anything in a home environment?

  13. Good point as when you sleep, your breathing is slowed down significantly.
  14. Well, when you get a DB9, please post some pics of your new ride 'till then, Viper remains is a car that can be afforded by those who aren't super rich.
  15. Reason why I like Vipers so much is because of their practicality(well of price anyway). Say take this car, or a Lambo, for the price of 1 new lambo, one could get 2 new and a used Viper GTS. Or you can give your Viper GTS to the good ol' John for a month or so and he will make an already fast race car into a super car, and the price will still be cheaper than of a new Lambo Marcielago. Or you could by some used Vipers for 40k or slightly under, plus most vipers on sale hardly ever clock more than 10k on their total mileage. Hennessey Venom 800TT {edit} I don't know about how auto insurance works in Europe, but here, insurance on a viper or a corvette will be so much easier to deal with, than with a supercar. A buddy of mine got a Z06(2 years ago) and he was paying $500 per month for the Car, and $500 per 3 months for the Z06. I don't even want to know how much will it cost to insure a beast like that or a Lambo(new, ofcourse). {edit 2} The other thing I like about cars is the sound they produce. Take for example any 60's or early 70's American Muscle car, eg: Plymouth Superbird with a 6 barrel motor, and the sound(both engine and exhaust) it puts out is absolutely awesome. The new era sport scars have a much more subdued sound. And Viper does make better sounds(at least imo) than a number of recent Ferraris.
  16. Heh, I like that. Have used the term myself quite frequently
  17. Yes it does. That is what they are looking for, or homosexual. So it is, but it help others avoid biases and prejudices. That would be wrong, but just for fun of it, let's check the good ol' dictionary:
  18. Regardless of how you try to justify that one, it is still Hate. This is more acceptable, but it would depend on your performance.
  19. The answer to that question is the kind of context you're placing it in. Homo is when taking the scientific perspective is very well accepted and is respectable. Eg: Homo Sapient, Homo Ergaster, Homo Erectus, etc If you say "You're a Homo" to a guy, then it will mean something else, but still not out of context as Homo means 'same'
  20. I guess that usually(it would seem) that when someone proclaims oneself an Atheist, he/she is looked down upon by the rest of the crowd. That can generally lead one into a defensive position in order to stay afloat, more or less. It would be the same situation in most(if not all) industrialized societies, so the things you see in UK, also play out in much the similar way 'round other major areas.
  21. Venom is what Used to be a Dodge Viper, before the John Hennesey got to it. Basically it's Viper on Crack. They are heavily modified from their original configuration(block, body, chassis, etc), so a typical Venom, will cost you well over 100 grand, but usually less then 200 grand. In this case, Venom 650 means Dodge Viper Venom with 650HP. {edit} Err, It seems all this time I was confusing the 650 thing for being too literal. 650R Venom seems to actually make 660HP, according to this: http://www.venomviper.com/pages/performance_specs.htm Yep, I have the 99 Z28 Camaro. The new LS1 engine is a huge improvement over the slightly older LT1. That engine is rated at 305HP.
  22. I take it you're a creationist yourself? Papers, books and speeches given by Creationists or those who are heavily influenced by religion, especially on the matter of Evolution are quite comical to read, but it is not science. Therefore, you have people like Dawkins who don't hide their feelings when it comes to the creationism. Dawkins has some great books(among other works) published, I suggest you read more of them.
