Ecological/Evolutionary Biology vs. Environmental Studies
Adams Baker replied to Ainotna's topic in Science Education
Environmental science is an interdisciplinary field that includes biology, biochemistry, chemistry, geology, engineering, agriculture and other disciplines. The field is concerned with gathering knowledge of the physical environment and determining efficient ways to maintain or improve it in order to benefit society. Chemical Engineering is the key to many issues affecting our quality of life. Industry is increasingly focused on high value chemicals and product which deliver the right molecule to the right at the right time. To carry out these activities the chemical engineer requires a complete and quantitative understanding of both the engineering and scientific principles underlying these technological processes.

You may want to enter a Master's program in a different field from your Bachelor's. In that case you can take a half-year deficiency program, which will give you access to a much wider range of Master's programs. The deficiency program consists of courses with the biggest differences from your prior education. You can enter a Master's program at TU/e, but also at Deft University of Technology or the University of Twente. From here http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/online-degree.aspx you may get more information regarding this.

Most professional jobs today require some form of a specialized or accredited degree and a traditional classroom setting from a reputable institution is the generally accepted form of education. Since the advent of the Internet and its widespread use the concept of online schools as an accepted method is gaining prominence in the professional world. More jobs and more people are requiring a strong educational background for career advancement and online schools are a variety option due to its cost-effective, convenience and flexibility. As with most progressive forms of education, online schools were initially regarded as inferior due to a lack of face-to-face interaction amongst peers and student teachers. On the other hand, the sanctity of traditional schools perseveres due to the plethora of programs they offer that come affiliated with distinguished faculties. From here http://www.thedegreeexperts.com you may get more information on online schooling and traditional schooling.

MBA in Engineering Mgmt or PhD in Computer Science?
Adams Baker replied to Mahbub's topic in Science Education
If you are looking at long term an MBA program generally requires several years of work experiences before you can apply. The way I look at it is that anyone can really pursue an MBA in fact it may be the most popular graduate degree but only a few can add are willing to pursue higher education in an engineering field. I would say that get your engineering MS and see what kind of work you get into your MS. At least that way you will have work experience to satisfy some of the better business schools. I want to tell you that MD is suitable for you because MD pertains to a higher degree in medicine. A person that has a MD degree can prescribe medicines where as a person with a PhD cannot prescribe medicines. A person gets a MD degree after two years of course work and two years of rotational work in some hospital or clinic. Astronomy, astrophysics and related fields concern the study of the universe and its inhabitants like stars, planets and black holes. While astronomers generally focus on qualitative data, such as observations of stars, students of astrophysics rely on mathematical and theoretical data. Students of these discipline should expect to learn about the makeup of galaxies and the solar system. From here http://www.thedegree...cience-128.aspx you may get more information on science degrees.

A Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Arts doesn't exist, but many schools offer a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in field. Other schools offer a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in multimedia arts and sciences. The difference between the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is that the BFA is considered a professional degree, often designed around a specialization. B.A programs, on the other hand provide a broader, more general education in the arts. For more information you may check this link http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/online-degree.aspx

I would like to suggest you to opt Biological Engineering rather than Biochemistry. Because the goals of Biological Engineering is to provide a fundamental understanding of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering and to apply this understanding to design devices and processes related to biosystems. Graduates have an excellent understanding of the complementary aspects of biology and engineering and work as professionals capable of implementing new ideas and technologies in complex biologically based industries.

Computer science studies the theoretical fundamentals of information and competition and applies these elements to computer systems. Learning this valuable knowledge can serve you well in the exciting and competitive computer and technology industry. Students who pursue advanced degrees in computer science will naturally increase their job prospects. A masters degree and a record of high-level performance and ability in the computer science field is usually sufficient for a top computer science career.

The undergraduate program in Engineering Physics stresses the basic physics that underlies most developments in engineering and the mathematical tools that are important to all engineers and scientists. This emphasis combined with hands-on experience with modern computers, electronics and lasers is an excellent preparation for a broad range of careers. The program is challenging with a curriculum designed to stretch the mind.
