"U-R-A-B-U-T-L-N" You are a beauty Ellen.

I think that then, either way, you have the "y" pronunciation for the "u". So "a" would be appropriate.

Well, I read 9 sentences. Perhaps the number of words is the corresponding number of the phone number? But it IS missing one... 656-727-2488?

"The fourth word on level two append 3" ?!? I have absolutely no idea... I know that veterans know it. I saw this same thread a couple pages back... -
I wonder if the line that rhymes has any significance, because it can't be coincidence that the line just happened to rhyme that well.

Well, I remember in elementary school doing a project like this. I think it ended with distilled being the purest, then rainwater, then tap, and then anything on the ground. I think the bottled comes between the rainwater and the tap water. I can't really remember that much though, so I might be a little off...

71% of Americans do not believe in anthropogenically forced climate change

Well, isn't it true that a single volcano can spew a lot more in one blast than we have in a year? And there have been a LOT of volcano eruptions, whether we know them or not, so it can't be ENTIRELY our fault here. Especially if volcanoes are making this happen even faster, every year. And they burn down forests as well. So we can demonstrate the disappearing forests and release of CO2, all with one, natural phenomenom. -

That's pretty surprising... Never thought multiplication could be THAT easy... And if the numbers DO get pretty high, you could have art!

That's hilarious. n00bs are only to be pwned by more experienced players! But the machine?!? That's just embarrassing...

Well, you can't expect EVERYONE to be nice... I guess the only people you can count on that drives a car to help you would be police officers and religious people, and a few choice good samaritans. People find now that they don't do it because they don't get a prize or award for it. Not to mention that people are in a hurry all the time, like you said. My father and I a while ago were driving, and we ran out of gas. We did know that we were gonna do that, so we brought one of those portable gas cans, and soon enough, we broke down on the side of a major highway. It took 20 minutes before anyone stopped on the side of the road to pick us up and take us to the nearest gas station. They were religious, so we were lucky we got picked up at all. I guess cars brought self-dependency, and the unwillingness to help others, just because you have a reason of speed. Of course, this incident was years before, so it's probably changed. I've seen people on the side of the road on the way to the store, and on the way back, when the entire trip took three hours. Of course, I guess that's kind of self-blaming too, since I didn't stop for them, but it's still kind of rude.

You should listen to Josh Groban's song "I'm a gangster". It's hilarious. And I think after listening to that, he might stop. And when he hits his goth/emo phase (I'm a bit younger, so I know some of the new phases), you should make him listen to the song "I must be emo" by the same guy. He puts everything about the stereotypes in a very fun rap-like song! Just google "Josh Groban gangster" to find the song. Or you can download it. Both works. Also, it might make your son hate your guts, and start talking proper, but it's a win-win, right?

Extremely difficult question from an IQ test...
Pre4edgc replied to w=f[z]'s topic in Brain Teasers and Puzzles
Wait... 2 of 13? That's 26... Number of letters in the alphabet... Perhaps the first letters in their names are a clue? EDIT: Sorry 'bout this, but I just checked about the first letters, and that's a big NO. It was a good guess, but that did nothing. I guess having 26 though has something to do with solving it... -

Well, if it helps, I think I see a pattern with the lower number values. Most of them have "r"s, so may that be a clue? Some may have lower letter counts, but the fact that most lower value names have the letter "r" can't be a coincidence... That could be a start. Just finding patterns in the values and letters... That's something a computer might not be able to do well. -
Perhaps the title is a clue? I don't recall him mentioning a moon or a pocketwatch in this little narrative of his...

What if it's a sort of ARG? Y'know, an alternate reality game? Where it's a search through all of these different places, on and off of the net? And some of the clues would be "the new summer" and "in the far west reaches of New America"? Like on the first day of summer, we need to go to a building of the organization "New America" (there is a such organization) to find out the number? It would be too late now, but it's possible! Or perhaps I'm thinking too deeply...

I'll try this one, since I've run out of complicated and interesting ones. But if the typos are in there, I'll also try the variations on the names. Maybe even research to make sure. I dunno how llong it'll take me. I'll try to update by the end of the week. -
You moved the negative sign from 102 to the 101.

You can check around for some Glencoe company books. They've ought to have some downloadable ones somewhere, but they start off sort of rough. They get a lot done, but it's sort of hard to understand what they talk about. They do have some problems in the books for you to solve.

The magnets will stop rotating and all of them will be attracted to the metal, which will cause them to stop, rendering the entire invention useless.
-
Not all of the time. You can have a convex quadrilateral, but it doesn't have to be regular. You can have a parallelogram, or a rhombus, which aren't defined as regular since they don't have equal angles on all sides. Same thing with trapezoids.
-
If something metal falls into your energy creator, you're screwed. Plainly put. Those magnets will stop immediately and go for it. So to make a car run off of this energy is almost impossible unless you could build stuff out of just plastic...

Ok. Got my key back... Hehe... Took me a little while, but now I have it again. I also had an advanced version, but I can't find that one either, but I can rebuild it now that I have the key. So anyone want a go?
