  1. He started a thread with no Question for discussion.......but for the end user ... 64 bit computing is basically twice as fist as they have now.......currently they have 32 bit computing which has to do with file size and format...... but it will also mean the operating system it runs in will have alot more overhead......and until they come up with a motherboard that will Handle the full capabilities....like intel is doing versus AMD using it now......the end user will only expierience slight speed increases......I understand what both parties are doing here....AMD is going to give the instant gratification while Intel invests in the future.....to put it simply......there are only so many improvments you can make to a house....before you need to build a new one.....a 64 bit processor isn't going to have the effect it is capable of unless it has an enviorment built especialy to handle it.......they've already theorized and started drawing out 128 and 256 bit processors....so if you have a top of the line now....wait for the 128 to come out.....if you have an older machine now.....get get the 64 and then wait for the 256.....in either case it is going to make things more difficult in the ways of software development....soon enough the lowest standards will become high enough to force an upgrade......and software will require certain processor capabilities to run efficiantly......... if that makes any sence to anyone.......
  2. By definition a conspiracy is, "an agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act"-Webster's-. ....... subversive acts, such as a crime, require one thing.....a motive.....what is the motive you are suggesting here?
  3. are you a webmaster? If you are that could open up a world of possibility..... you can open up a few chat rooms....starting with 2 ......Practical Science and Theoretical Science.....once you get more interest and traffic at the site....you can open up more as need be.....you can have featured discussion topics and all that good stuff.... Just a thought
  4. if they are trying to communicate with us....why would our dates be of significance?
  5. I mean......what would make you ask this question?
  6. Science is about ovservation and documentation..... where would you stipulate the conspiracies come in??
  7. I'm more into the practical sciences.....so it sounds good to me as is..... :bs:
  8. and no....there is no Geology
  9. this was my first start of a thread......sorry its in the wrong area
  10. you're joking right........
  11. It is unfortunatly true though.....science...is dipicted by culture...follow me for a sec.... espierence is where culture comes from....and if life experiance is where we get our idea of good and bad....and perceptions....then it isn't that hard to believe that it is also where we pull from when it comes to logic.....Science is nothing more than the study of how something works........and, in my belief, perception influences outcome.....therefor....culture does play a role in science.....however unfortunate that is....it is true....
  12. I have a much simplier resopnce than that last one....there's too many question marks to even discuss it.......you can have a discussion on one or two questions.....but this....its not a plausable discussion......its like asking where the universe came from....there is too uch we don't know......its incomprihencable at this time...... forgive me.....I've been drinking.....
  13. my theories on this were all explained in the geology thread......take a look if you missed it...
  14. the dates would be significant if they were sending reports back to their home.....they wouldn't be so significant if they were trying to communicate with us.....another thing I thought of....when I was in the Military....we encrypted transmission....if these are coming in pairs like some are displayed on the website....maybe one is the encryption code and one is the transmission......which means by overlaying these transmissions we can get a different picture and a better idea..........another thing to consider is the fact that we look at the things that are pushed down.... and not the left overs....maybe we're looking at it backwards.....just a thought.....
  15. you misunderstood......either they're trying to communicate with us....or sending updates back to where they came from.....as anyone ever thought to bounce the dates these apear with geological or political dates....to see if there is any corelation?

    Geology

Here is a paper I wrote from various sources outlining what I found and my beliefs...it covers everything previously posted but has some new stuff I found as well.....this will by my last post on the subject. End of Days We’ve all heard the theories of the end of days. Depending on what religion, your beliefs on how may vary, but it all ends the same way. What if I told you I knew exactly how this cataclysm would occur and where these original beliefs really came from? It isn’t a farce, but rather a scientific certainty. It is a fact, we’ve never seen a super volcano erupt. It is also a fact that we’ve never actually seen a mega tsunami. But, we’ve seen the results of both, many times over. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a noise? The answer to that, is the same as this. It all lies locked away in the secrets of super volcanoes, Toba, Yellowstone, mega-tsunami, and the island of La Palma. A super volcano differs greatly from the standard volcano. The stereotypical volcano is a towering cone, but super volcanoes form in depressions in the ground called calderas. When a normal volcano erupts, lava gradually builds up in the mountain before releasing it. In super volcanoes when magma nears the surface it does not reach it, instead it begins to fill massive underground reservoirs. The magma melts the nearby rock to form more extremely thick magma. The magma is so viscous that volcanic gasses that normally trigger an eruption cannot pass, so a massive amount of pressure begins to build up. This continues for hundreds of thousands of years until an eruption occurs, which blasts away a huge amount of ground, forming a new caldera. They are the most destructive force on this planet. It is theorized that the lava would shoot straight to the stratosphere and harden before hitting the ground causing impact creators all over the world. Only a few super volcanoes exist in the world and erupt very seldom, but when they do, they do so with apocalyptic force, capable of obliterating continents. Toba, Sumatra was the last Super Volcano to erupt. When it did so seventy five thousand years ago, the human population, which was around one hundred thousand or so worldwide, dropped to about two thousand worldwide. It had ten thousand times the explosive force of Mt. St. Helen and changed life on Earth forever. Thousands of cubic kilometers of ash were thrown into the atmosphere. So much so, that it blocked out light from the sun all over the world. Twenty five hundred miles away, thirty five centimeters of ash coated the ground. Global temperatures plummeted by 21 degrees. The rain became highly acidic and killed three quarters of all organic life in the northern hemisphere. Man was pushed to the edge of extinction. This is the origin of the religious believes in the end of days. Yellowstone National park is another. Scientist have discovered that the ground in Yellowstone is seventy-four centimeters (about 3 feet) higher than in was in nineteen twenty-three, indicating a massive swelling underneath the park. The reservoir is filling with magma at an alarming rate. The volcano erupts with a near-clockwork cycle of every six hundred thousand years. The last eruption was more than six hundred forty thousand years ago; which means we’re passed due. Scientists searching for the caldera in the park could not see it because it was so massive. Only when thermal satellite images were taken did the scale become apparent; the whole park, eighty-five kilometers by forty-five kilometers, is one massive reservoir of magma. When it erupts, magma would be flung fifty kilometers into the atmosphere. Everything within a thousand miles would be dead immediately. Volcanic ash would coat places as far away as Iowa and the Gulf of Mexico. One thousand cubic kilometers of lava would pour out of the volcano, enough to coat the whole of the USA with a layer five inches thick. The explosion would have a force twenty-five hundred times that of Mt. St. Helen. It would be the loudest noise heard by man. Within minutes of the eruption tens of thousands would be dead. The long-term effects would be even more devastating. The thousands of cubic kilometers of ash that would shoot into the atmosphere could block out light from the sun, making global temperatures plummet. This is called a volcanic winter, similar to a nuclear winter. As during the Toba eruption, a large percentage of the world's plant life would be killed by the ash and drop in temperature. Similar effects around the world would cause massive food shortages. If the temperatures plummet by the 21 degrees as they did after the Toba eruption, the Yellowstone super volcano eruption would truly be an extinction level event. Mega tsunamis, in comparison, aren’t as massive. But they do happen more frequently. True, we have yet to actually see one, but I believe its just around the corner. A mega-tsunami is simply a gigantic wave, one big enough to cross oceans and destroy cities. They can be thousands of feet high moving at incredible speeds. They can be caused by huge meteors crashing into the ocean, or by massive landslides. No boat or building hit by a mega tsunami could survive. The largest tsunami in recorded history was in Lituya Bay, Canada, nineteen fifty-eight. An earthquake measuring eight point three on the Richter scale caused fourty million cubic meters of rock to fall into the sea. A wave more than half a kilometer high was created and surged through the bay devastating all in its path. This was not even a mega-tsunami. By these standards it was tiny, but it did show scientists what sort of wave a small landslide could cause. What would be the affect of a big one? Scientists hunted that world for sites that could potentially cause a mega tsunami. They discovered that at least eleven mega tsunamis had happened in the last two hundred thousand years, caused by island collapses in the Hawaiian and Canary Islands. What they also discovered is nothing short of shocking. We are be sitting on a time bomb, and sooner or later one will destroy New York, Boston and Miami, and that nothing could dream of stopping it. The Island of La Palma is the most northwesterly island in the Canaries. It is indeed about to collapse. It is volcanic and during an eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano in nineteen forty-nine, part of the island slipped about 10 meters into the sea before stopping. Another eruption could cause the western flank of the island to collapse in the Atlantic Ocean. The volcano also erupts like clockwork every fifty to fifty-five years. When the island collapse occurs, it will send a wave of unparalleled force (six hundred trillion joules of kinetic energy) to the Americas, leveling the first 30 miles of the North American coast. It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when? When this wave comes surging across the Atlantic, it is my belief, that is will induce the eruption of Yellowstone’s super volcano. Given Newton’s laws of motion, it’s unavoidable. The earth will become off balance, like a vibrating controller we use in our video games. The tectonic plates of earth will shift suddenly causing stress to rise, magma to flow upwards and the cataclysm will begin. This is how it will happen. It’s not a question of if, but when.
  17. there are no constants in the universe come to think about it....why would light be one of them....?
  18. Take a look.....makes for some interesting reading http://www.ldolphin.org/constc.shtml [edit] if, in theory, it is correct....life spans of organic matter would increase and on an atomic level....activity would slow. these are my opinions but I have read all the way though the papers yet.[edit end]
  19. to not keep an open mind to other possibilities nulifies a discussion....but if they are ET.....it would be my guess that they are a form of communication......light travel faster than Sound and it is harder to track.....
  20. I did have a really wierd dream last night......we're thinking too 1 dimensionally.......an artical was just posted by fafalone stating -"Physicists at the University of Wisconsin have created a way to manipulate individual silicon atoms in a lattice to express binary digits."- We've all heard the multi-dimention theary of life existing on our atoms and we are nothing but an atom to something else..... what if this is just someones attempt to assign a binary code to a sub-atomic partical....but we're on the sub-atomic partical.... they can't get one to stay so they keep trying different designs.....
  21. I thought I was following the thread.........
  22. ok.....lets assume for a second....that we don't care how they got there.......why are they there?....what purpose do they serve?
  23. Yep....it would definitly be cool......the trick will come when they try to move away from organic storage and use sub atomic storage in stuff like metal alloys and such.....
  24. Hello....I'm new.....currently I'm a college student and work at a public school as a LAN Administrator. I have done some Sat Comm but mainly work in Network Design and Implimentation. From Florida......back here for school....then probably DC....who knows... [edit] oh yeah....I'm 25 [edit end]
  25. I like that aman........very Impressive...... ". Women ever demand more and men follow their ****. " - aman should be stitched on a pillow somewhere.....ya think??
