Is the event itself repeated in diffrent time frames?

I am not smart enough to understand what you are saying. Can you tell me if an event can repeat in diffrent time frames and if so explain it?

Clocks may run at diffrent rates but that does not mean a change in what is being measured. If one event were repeated in diffrent time frames where would the energy come from? Could an event be altered by activiy in a time frame in which the event is yet to happen? If you are saying that the occurance of one event can repeat in diffrent time frames I have trouble with that.

I believe that an event can only happen "now' though different observers may differ as to the time of the event. Without a universal "now" I have trouble of a crossover between the past and future. This is my present view - I may be way out.

Given that energy cannot be created or distroyed, if energy lingered in the past its amount in the present would be reduced. My "now" is where the energy is. It somehow proceeds as part of "now". The role of time I do not know. "now" of course can refer to conscous awareness.

Its my gut feeling that time somehow molds all that is. Matter and energy in my view only exsist during a brief slice of "time" and somehow it must be basic to their exsistence. It might have the nature of some yet unknow force or field. Time as the term is generally used is certainly not much different than direction. It may be that if we discover more about it we will give it a diffrent name.

I have never decided what time is. I have described what I view as some of its effects, such as maintaining "now" spacing events. What it is ? I would think its much more than a direction.

First we have to understand what time is. In my mind this is the first step in understanding the universe. I think a lot about it but have no clew.

As I view it, "now" flows on leaving its past behind as history and converting what we call the future into each passing "now". I believe that this flow is the ageing of the universe. It is what some may call universal time.

"Now" does advance as we can see from history.

I believe that a true understanding of what time is is basic to an understanding of the universe. I certainly dont have it.

I am not saying that the light would arrive in the future. I am saying that "now" would have to advance at at least the speed of light to avoid this impossible.

If light moves between point A and point B, 186000 miles apart, in one second,and "now" has not advanced at least one second during the journey,light would have finished its journey in its future.

Would not the leading edge of the light beam have to be "now' to exist ?

The universe only exists “now”. Its past is but history reflected in present “now” Its future is yet to be. It would seem that the flow of “now” would have to be at least that of the speed of light to prevent light from running into the yet to exist future. With such speed it would seem near impossible for the “now” of an event to match exactly with the “now” of its measurement or observation. This could account for Uncertainty.

From the time frame of the barn the ladder length contracts and will fit in the barn. From the time frame of the ladder the barn length contracts and the fit will be worse. From an outside time frame both will length contract. All this with respect to the same barn and ladder. What trust one must have?

The barn door movement is the event.

I believe an event is viewed in all frames as it occurs (adjusting for signal transfer). Only its time may not be agreed on. The exploding bomb depends on the signal reaching it, not on the event occurance.

The spaceman ends his trip ageing at a slower rate then when he started. This occurs in his own time frame in which if I understand correctly no such change should be observed by him.

Does he arrive shorter?

If time compression does not effect his ageing rate in his owne frame how does he end up younger than he would have been if he stayed on earth?

It is said that the space twin ages slower then when he started his trip and slower than his earth twin.

Length and time compression go hand in hand. It is said that time compression effects his body in his frame-slows his ageing-why should not length compression be able to effect him?

Im thick. He has but one body and it is really compressed in a time frame. How do we know what effect this might or might not have?

The spaceman has but one body and I am asking if length contraction viewed from but one frame could affect him?
