by the way i admit my blunder with regards to the neutrino, i wrongly assumed the neutrino was another phenomena i was aware of that will not be detected.

so it is not sensible to say - gravitons do not exist - but it is sensible to say they might, despite not having any empirical evidence to prove this... ok, well you go and theorise then, but i do not see how you are different from any religious group... is atheism not a belief, founded without fact?

and by the way ATHEIST you cannot be a scientist & an atheist at the same time, atheism is a belief that has not been realised either way by scientific paradigms, so what is it that makes you better than any other religious believer?

i guess the comparison is you worship the golden calf just like the transgressors in Moses' time....... ... what i mean by this is that you ask for help/knowledge from inanimate objects, like when you bash matter together to gain understanding, whereas i choose to seek knowledge via logical trains of thought, to put it simply. which all equates to you possessing data, but lacking the understanding to interpret that data... whereas the empircal evidence/understanding i procalim to posses, is so apparent that when you learn of it, you will not even need to confirm it in a lab.

Since gravity affects mass in large quantities, it seem natural that it should affect mass in smaller quantities to a proportionally lesser extent... I can imagine that all arguments for the gravitational field to be quantized indeed relate back to all the other interaction-carrying fields also being quantized, but that already seems like a good reason to investigate that possibility (relating different effects back to common mechanisms and stuff). ... and yes of course, your strain of logic is the very thing that leads to 'you' overlooking the answer(s), while also been the very thing that feeds your state of pride! is gravity an interaction-carrying field? or are you just guessing? no sorry, don't bother answering that, the scope of your logic will only mislead you! anyway seen as though you have all the answers there is nothing for me to do here, goodbye!

from my persepective - 'gravitons' are irrelevant and will not be found - people seek after such a phenomena because current understanding is in err concerning this force. i'd love to share more with you, but as i have already stated at another forum (and had my post deleted because i did), i have neither the qualifications, nor the self-glorifying outlook that would enable me to gain anything in return for sharing what i know with you....... ... as this is the case i can see that in the very near future 'you' will have an important decision to make, which is namely - is it more important to glorify & reward your ownselves, when it is at the cost of the advancement of whole human race?

if you hold the right to delete my posts as and when you please, then i would also like that right for myself. its a bit silly is it? well you would not believe the amount of times i have been on forums, and my words have been edited/deleted here and there to suit the message the forums moderators wish to portray....... me i believe that if you are unable to break down an arguement for what it is, then you should not be allowed the easy way out, and just ignore/sweep under the carpet that which threatens to burst your fragile bubbles....... but then i doubt this will make much sense to you at the moment

sorry to bother you for i have (in part) the answer i was looking for. i am leaving now for i do not agree with the fact you do not allow people to edit their posts (after so much time has elapsed).

In simplified terms, can I assume the states of the electrons (compared with each other) are comparable to different dimensions, in other words if we have two electrons in the first electron orbital, the distance of the wave-functions cloud from the nucleus (for both electrons) will be the same, but we know they will ‘never’ cross paths, hence they occupy (from their own perspectives) different dimensions. Please excuse the simplification of my terminology.

I am slightly confused about accretion disks……. if all matter (including light) is drawn into the disk (which is circulating in one direction), then is there not a difference in the strength of that (gravitational) force according to what direction the ‘matter’ in question approaches it? To try and clarify this further, supposing we have two photons of light travelling in opposite directions, one approaching the point of ‘no return’ in the same direction as the disks rotation, and one in the opposite direction (to that rotation), and we assume that their paths are such that the photon travelling in the same direction as the disk - will only just be caught by the black holes ‘gravitational pull’ – then surely the photon travelling in the opposite direction will have the momentum to escape the very same ‘gravitational grip’!? Greetings to all May I please enquire about how the wave-function predicts the position of electrons? What I am most concerned about is how it deals with the defined states that electrons occupy. I am sure you are aware of the simplified explanations describing an ‘electron cloud’ around the nucleus, so how does this take into account the distinct states they occupy? Many thanks
