  1. wonder why newton didnt bother with the three body problem. or did he?
  2. just asking, and i wont tell you why i asked.
  3. i hate any inverse trig or hyperbolic functions
  4. why bother with that when u can reduce the problem to which is already solved
  5. hey leison, u really from kathmandu?
  6. cant help u there. i dont use mathematica. i use maple
  7. is that sum rite? how can u have two index in one sum. you probably mean a double sum
  8. don't forget leibniz!!!! he independently developed calculus, a dozen of years after newton . also his notation is far more logical and helped the rapid development of calculus from then on.
  9. ok then. here are the removal tools from various av sites. for beagle = bagle . if thats true. http://www.nod32.com there is a free removal pull down menu. on the left. just select Bagle. kaspersky removal tools can be found here http://www.kaspersky.com/removaltools Sophos disinfection tool along with instructions here http://www.sophos.com/support/disinfection/baglea.html and from f-secure. http://www.f-secure.com/download-purchase/tools.shtml#Bagle i would be surprised if none of them worked.
  10. mine uni uses sophos. it seems that beagle is same as bagle?!!! or is it?
  11. alternatively, try getting the trial AV from nod32 and kaspersky and see if it gets rid of ur viruses.
  12. ok. try this http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_cleaner.html Beagle seems to be in the list of the virus the free scanner can get rid off, including ur variant. somehow nortons removal tools never worked for me either. Is the virus Bagle same as Beagle? cos some antivirus websites like nod32 and kaspersky dont seem to have the removal tools for Beagle
  13. i'm already sorted mate
  14. first of all, just because norton doesnt find any viruses in ur computer doesnt mean ur computer doesnt have any. when i changed my antivirus from norton, found loads of viruses and trojans. the way i check if i got any viruses is to check using my on access scanner and then all the available ones on the net. check for any false positives and such. I used nod32 for a while, excellent detection rates, low memory and cpy usage, fast scanning time. Rite now i am using Kaspersky Av pro. also has excellent detection rates, not only for viruses but also for trojans. most av out there can't pick up trojans. i am still looking for a seperate anti trojan. Never used mc afee. tried its firewall, and it was disgusting. Before i moved to nod32 i was using avast professional for a while
  15. personally i think that there are better AV solutions out there than norton
  16. what happened? i thought you were going to put more of your calculus lessons.
  17. i got maple 9 for free, and not from net as well
  18. i cant be bothered to calculate the confidence interval
  19. the taliban were created by aliens as weapons of mass destruction. in then lies a hidden gene which gets triggered accidentally. aliens left
  20. i just did a quick survey around my computer and my mates computers.
  21. ok. about 90% of its illegal. look at how many warez sites and ftps there are. the amount of files swapped on p2p, not only music , but now the swapping of videos and software has overtaken music.
  22. oops seems that i have read the question wrong. i thought a_n was the the number of digits in 2^n. it seems that its number of digits in 2^n at least 5
  23. calculated a_n upto n = 33 , found out some stuff on behaviour of a_n (not proven) if n = 0,1,2,3 mod10 then for each grouping of a_n i.e n=0,1,2,3 : 10,11,12,13,... the a_n's are equal. the same happens for n=4,5,6 mod10 and n=7,8,9 mod10. so basically the grouping seems to have a sequence 4,3,3,4,3,3, for example the first few {a_n} 1,1,1,1, 2,2,2, 3,3,3, 4,4,4,4, 5,5,5, 6,6,6, 7,7,7,7, 8,8,8, 9,9,9, 10,10,10,10, gonna try if i can find the value of the series.
  24. an alternative form for a_n would be [2^n/10] where [] means the same thing as before
  25. most of the world is illegal
