There is space between the nuclei within a solid. There is space between the particles which make up the nuclei. This space consists of aether. Matter is that which is not aether. If you say matter does not exist in a particular region of three dimensional space then it consists of aether. If you say aether does not consist in a particular region of three dimensional space then it consists of matter. In the analogy, the tank of water is the universe. Since there is a single path towards D3 there is nothing for the wave in the aether to interfere with and there is no interference pattern and since it is not determined if it is an 'up' or 'down' photon being detected at D3 there is no way to distinguish between the photons arriving at D0 which interference pattern each photon belongs to. The same for photons reflected by BSb and arrive at D4. Photons which pass through BSa and are reflected by BSc and arrive at D1 are either 'up' or 'down' photons but not both. If 'up' photons arrive at D1 then 'down' photons arrive at D2. The opposite occurs for photons which pass through BSb. Photons which pass through BSa and pass through BSb and arrive at D1 are all either 'up' or 'down' photons. If all 'up' photons arrive at D1 then all 'down' photons arrive at D2. Since the physical waves in the aether traveling both the red and blue paths are combined prior to D1 and D2 the aether waves create interference which alters the direction the photon travels. Since all 'up' photons arrive at one of the detectors and all 'down' photons arrive at the other an interference pattern is created which reflects back to the interference both sets of photons are creating at D0. The following experiment will provide evidence of Aether Displacement: Instead of having a single beam splitter BSc have two beam splitters BSca and BScb. Have the photons reflected by mirror Ma interact with BSca and have the photons reflected by mirror Mb interact with BScb. Do not combine the red and blue paths. Have additional detectors D1a, D2a, D1b, and D2b. Have the photons reflected by and propagate through BSca be detected at D1a and D2a. Have the photons reflected by and propagate through BScb be detected at D1b and D2b. If you compare the photons detected at D1a and D1b with the photons detected at D0, the corresponding photons detected at D0 will form an interference pattern. If you compare the photons detected at D2a and D2b with the photons detected at D0, the corresponding photons detected at D0 will form an interference pattern. What is occurring is all 'up' photons are being detected at one pair of detectors, for example D1a and D1b, and all 'down' photons are being detected at the other pair of detectors, for example D2a and D2b. Interference patterns do not even need to be created in order to determine the interference patterns created at D0.

That's missing the point. Where does the displacement of the water by the grain of sand end? I was mistaking pressure for gravity below the surface of the Earth. The closer you get to the center of the Earth the more displaced aether there is exerting force towards the center. What is presently postulated as dark matter is aether. Aether has mass. Aether physically occupies three dimensional space. Aether is physically displaced by matter. This lack of pressure is less able to exert force on the ocean water than it is the solid matter of the Earth. This allows the ocean to rise. The energy field displaced by the Earth and the Moon encompasses each other. The displaced energy field which encompasses the Earth and the Moon forces the Earth and the Moon towards each other. This pressure is stronger on the solid matter of the Earth than it is the water in the oceans. This allows the solid matter of the Earth to be pushed closer to the Moon than the water is. This is why the ocean rises opposite the Moon.

The balloon of solid lead contains more matter than the regular balloon. Therefore the solid lead baloon displaces more aether; because it contains less aether. By lighter do you mean less matter per volume? Aether is displaced based on the amount of matter per volume. If the lead atom has more matter per volume then the lighter atom (or molecule) then it contains less aether and therefore displaces more aether. 'Matter per volume' means the stuff that is not aether. If there is more of it in a particular volume then there is less aether in the volume. This means more aether has been displaced.

There is the gas giant Jupiter and a Jupiter made of lead. They both have the same volume. The lead Jupiter contains more matter per volume and displaces more aether than the gas Jupiter. When I said surface, I was thinking clocks at the same distance from the center of the Earth. I was thinking sea level. At the time, since you were confusing the 7 microseconds per day with height I didn't see any reason to have to specify it more clearly since it was obvious you had no idea what you were talking about. The further from the center of the Earth you get the less aether there is displaced by the Earth which is exerting force back toward the Earth. The atoms in the twins are affected by the displaced aether. However, there is much more going on than this in terms of the twins. The twins are biological beings. If one twin is on a spaceship and the other is on the Earth there is much more going on than simply the rate at which an atomic clock ticks and the force of the aether which causes the clocks to tick at the rate at which they do which is going to affect the rate at which the twins age. Does the twin in the pool age at the rate at which the battery operated clock in the pool ticks? Of course not. You understand what is occurring physically in nature to cause the battery operated clock to tick slower. It has nothing to do with time. It is silly to even think the rate at which the battery operated clock in the pool ticks is associated with the age at which the twin in the pool ages simply because they are both wet. What I was referring to is the distance the atomic clock is from the center of the Earth. The further you get from the center of the Earth the less the aether is displaced by the Earth. The aether displaced by the Earth exerts less force towards and throughout the Sun than it does the Moon.

What you are referring to in terms of elevation is the 45 microseconds per day the clock in the GPS ticks faster because there is less force exerted towards and throughout the clock by the aether which is displaced by the Earth than there is force exerted towards the clock on the ground by the aether displaced by the Earth. There are two components associated with determining the rate at which a GPS satellite ticks. The 7 microseconds is not dependent on the height. The 7 microseconds per day is determined by the force of the displaced aether exerted on and throughout the moving atomic clock as compared to another clock at rest with respect to the state of the aether. Both clocks exist in the same state of the aether, except for their motion, far away from the displaced aether effects of other objects. Yes. My understanding of the train gedanken is different than Einstein's. If the embankment is at rest with respect to the aether then the train is moving with respect to the aether. If the Observer at A' notes the time and walks toward B' and then back to A' the clock the observer at A' takes with them will tick less times on the way to B' as it does on the way back to A' and the Observer at A' will be able to determine their state with respect to the state of the aether. I don't know what this means in terms of the math of general relativity. The clock on the Earth exists in aether which is always in the same state. This is the same reason for the near-null result of the Michelson Morley experiment. The aether connected to and neighboring the Earth is always in the same state, or almost the same state, throughout the Earth's rotation about its axis and orbit of the Sun. The clocks being flown east and west in the H-K experiment exist in different states of aether and tick accordingly. In terms of motion, the speed of a GPS satellite with respect to the aether causes it to displace more aether and for that aether to exert more force on the clock in the GPS satellite than the force of the aether associated with a clock at rest with respect to the Earth. This causes the GPS satellite clock to result in a delay of about 7 microseconds per day.
