  1. I desperately need a solution to a visual problem I am having. I'm currently doing some research on the feasibility of a new type of device in the Augmented Reality (AR) field. I'm working on a proof of concept for AR visors with a transparent electro luminescent display on one eye. My idea was to adjust the near to eye display with the help of corrective lenses in order to bring the image on the display into focus. While this worked to some degree by having a lens with very high diopter, I was not able to see through the display anymore. Furthermore, the image on the display is not really overlayed onto reality and this creates convergence of the eyes which gives a headache in less than 30sec. I tried looking into bi-focal lenses while keeping the bottom half of the display with high diopter and the upper half neutral in order to see reality, but even this still creates an excruciating headache. Does anyone have some scientific insight for me? This research is very important for my career and I would honestly be very grateful to those who help me out!! Thanks HMD.pdf
