The Senate will interpret it differently, and the impeachment will fail. I suppose the ultimate interpretation is by you, American voters, next November. Will this process have swayed enough voters to turn some Republicans off D Trump ? Or will the process have alienated some Democrats or other non-Trump supporters ? Will the average voter even remember this after all the other sh*t the election campaign will likely stir up ?

I am most familiar with aerospace companies. The Ukraine has the largest designer of military transport planes in the world; the Antonov design bureau. Unfortunately, the USSR production model consisted of various design bureaus ( MiG, Sukhoy, Tupolev, Yakovlev, etc ) with the actual production being undertaken in various state production facilities ( all in Russia ), as Russia was the biggest customer. When the Ukranian conflict with Russia started, Antonov had the designs, but could no longer produce them, or sell them to their main customer. They have been looking for many years, to put Western equipment in their products ( an148/158 regional jets, an178 military transport, an70, an32, an124, an225, etc) Lately as others have gotten over their distrust of Ukranian corruption, a few Western aerospace companies ( Boeing ) have collaborated with Antonov. And Antonov has set up a production facility in the Ukraine. Most of their profits don't come from equipment sales, but from renting out their an124 Ruslan to Western air forces ( NATO ), and their biggest ( ! ) seller is the one copy of the an225 Mriya, originally built to ferry the Russian space shuttle. It is the largest transport plane in the world, and so in demand, that Antonov is attempting to complete a second unfinished copy that's been in storage for years. So no YJ02, things are not so rosy for defence contractors in the Ukraine. Recently their Jet engine producer, Ichvenko-progress, was stopped by the US state department from getting into a collaborative venture with a Chinese firm. The fear was that China, who has been having trouble producing jet engines ( must be that cheap Chinese metallurgy ), would gain valuable technology transfer from the Ukranians, who have the technology, but not the market.

I can't imagine the studies quoted by the two sources ( in the tweet ) were very scientific. Of the people who are not shown the facts, exactly none change their minds ( why would they have to ? ). He is not considering global space-time ( otherwise known as 'block universe' ) as that already includes past, present and future, and as such, is not subject to evolution. What he is considering are the 'foliations' of space-time, and how the foliations 'evolved' from the origin till now. As each foliation is an instant in time, the concept of a global foliation is non-sensical, as that implies a common global instant in time, otherwise known as a 'universal now'. That was my objection to the ill-posed question.

A global geometry, as you are considering, is not possible. Maybe Marcus or Mordred can provide further insight, but as far as I know, a single, or global, 'foliation' ( or Cauchy surface ) of space-time is not possible. Aggregations of local surfaces are.

Gravity as we know it ( GR ) would have appeared as soon as our universe moved from the quantum foam stage to one where geometry became apparent. Somewhere around the Planck scale/era ( if it ever was that compacted ).

It isn't that simple YJ02. One could argue that both presidents withheld military aid, but B Obama did it to minimize deaths in the conflict, even though this resulted in a number of deaths. D Trump withheld aid for personal political gain, and this resulted in a number of deaths. One position can be defended, the other, not so much. And pointing out the loss of life due to D Trump's extortion attempt should be allowed. ( although I'm with you in believing that this impeachment process will go nowhere, and may actually be detrimental to Democrat aspirations to form the next government )

You can't separate the field form the mass/energy causing it. It does not evolve, and didn't originate with the Higgs interaction. As mass/energy changes configuration/collects/breaks apart, all individual components carry their field with them, changing/adding/subtracting respectively. Asymmetric changes ( as opposed to symmetric ) generate gravitational waves which carry away some of the mass/energy, such as the recently observed orbiting BH merger.

Any way you look at it, You Brits compounded a bad decision with another one. I get the impression people didn't vote in support of Brexit, but in support of ending the instability and indecisiveness of the last three years. Basically they were fed up with the whole thing.
