Homeopathy is a hoax, and has nothing to do with medicine.

What if this time machine is fictional??

Pick one.

One would hope so! Even without the internet of today, you'd think they had heard of an event that took place 400 years earlier.

No, he left Germany due to Hitler coming to power. I wouldn't dread to say it had nothing to do with his works in physics, but at best that would be a secondary reason. One of many myths about the Nazis being occultists. I'd take a lot of that with a pinch of salt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism_and_occultism

Ok, so I didn't read that far! At least it didn't say compound chemistry...

"Just"? For pure iridium, you're looking at $4200 per 100g. I don't know about you, but I'd buy her a hamster or something. Looking at this link here, it would seem pure iridium would do the trick. http://www.zdnet.com/blog/gadgetreviews/what-can-you-buy-with-100k-a-zafirro-iridium-razor-of-course/25706 No need for any of the other cheapskate metals. Really though, check with your dad's bladesmith to see if he can even make blades out of such exotic materials.

Hydraulic Machines: Turbines and Pumps (book)
pwagen replied to production_engineer's topic in Engineering
You can always ask here though. Chances are at least someone here has some knowledge about hydraulics. -
You'd still have to ask yourself, if the Nazis had access to "rotary magnetic fields, particle beam weapons, death rays, scalar physics and anti gravity aircraft", technology that are STILL not around, how could they have lost the war?

Whatever gave you that idea? Also, I think you mean telepathy, not telekinesis. Telekinesis is the manipulation of matter via mind only. And while I would love to hear an explanation on why FB does that, I don't think that's what you mean. Care to elaborate? I'm not quite sure what you mean here. This is wrong though. Facebook was launched in 2004. You're getting closer. The first MiB was made in 1997. MiB3, which you mention, was made in 2012. It had not been made in 1999, even in India. However, you're getting closer to being right in that it's based on the UFO and alien pop culture stemming from the alleged incident at Roswell in 1947. Friends of friends, same school, same job, same interests, same location, they're in your contact book etc. There are a lot of ways to suggest friends for someone on FB. And if they ALL matched (which I doubt), it seems it works. And what do you mean by "correct" anyway? Did you know all of them? It reminds me of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for very different reasons.

How is that "evidence of the reptilian agenda" as opposed to evidence of (and hold on to something now) "reptilian cnn compilation demon eyes shapeshifter hologram video music singer tori amos annie lennox movie actor actress comedy kathy griffin facebook interview show scene morph proof 911 inside job false flag evil gulf oil spill david icke matrix alex jones bilderberg trilateral fed bernanke greenspan economic collapse zionist conspiracy obama deception police cops israel iran mossad cia nwo bush rockefeller rothschild illuminati reagan mason templar bohemian zeitgeist 2012 ascension chakra vampire alien ufo draco 666 cain kenite satan lucifer devil diablo fallen angel dragon serpent chemtrails orgone haarp mind control nephilim annunaki nibiru", that the video description states? I can also cut together a bunch of news reels, add a slowdown/speedup effect as well as increase the brightness at times and add some ambiance to it. The video seems to be edited by a 6 year old. The rest of your videos are also a mish-mash of nonsense, at best.

Weird similitude in distant archeologic pieces...

Excellent, I failed to read my own source. -
Weird similitude in distant archeologic pieces...

Doesn't seem that way to me. None of the figures in the video are in the right position, so that's another sculpture. One would have to track down where the Egyptian picture is from, as well as the Ecuadorian one. Then do some kind of dating on them (finding out how old they are, not for reproductive purposes) to see if either is made at a more modern age. I couldn't find anything about either of the pictures, apart from the one you've put in your post. Searching for them seems to always bring up Cueva de los Tayos, but I can't find that specific piece anywhere on any site relating to that location. The only picture in existance seems to be that one, with no further information. So until we know more, all we can do is withhold judgement. My Spanish is a little rusty, but the old priest seems to talk about his findings being Babylonian. And sure enough, they do look that way. http://chapmanresearch.org/PDF/Crespi%20Ancient%20Artifact%20Collection%20of%20Cuenca%20%20Ecuador.pdf However, I can't make out if he actually found them there, or if they were brought there and he bought them at a yard sale or something. Either way, it would be hard to prove that they were actually dug up in South America, unless they find more of the same. I also found a link asking the question "Did Hitler escape to Argentina to become Father Crespi?". Read at your own risk. http://www.deanthebard.com/blog/did-hitler-escape-to-argentina-to-become-father-crespi/ -

Look into both and decide which one would suit your interests and aspirations best. -
Post Editor Box A Deal Killer...

Do you mean the quote function? Because I've had to figure out a lot of things about that as well (can elaborate when I get home, basically just posting here so I can find the thread later). -
I'm a little unsure how you mean to connect them, but it sounds like you mean to connect them in a parrallel circuit, like what was linked above. If my memory serves me, that would not double the voltage (would require a serial circuit), but it would double the maximum current.

Hydraulic Machines: Turbines and Pumps (book)
pwagen replied to production_engineer's topic in Engineering
I've looked around a bit, and this book doesn't seem to be freely available. Weirdly enough, it seems unavailable through Amazon as well. Best advice if you really want it is to check with your local library, or their e-book section. -
Link to the source, for anyone wondering: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermediate_value_theorem

I don't know, but it seems it's just not efficient enough yet. And apparently it's not only me who has that problem after a few inputs. If it can't even process 3 lines of text in a reasonable time, imagine what happens when you've talked to it for an hour. You can probably get a cheap web host for a few bucks a month. Mine is around $11 a month, got 250 GB of space and 5 TB traffic a month, which should be plenty to start with. If you truly believe in your program that much, that's a cheap price to pay if you ask me. And you should be able to find one that suits your needs.

The problem in Truman Show is that he lived in a sealed dome. So either the dome is big enough for the plane to fly about inside, or they opened it up. Another option is putting him in a grounded simulator, which rocks back and forth to simulate take-off and landing. But I would have to see it again to refresh my memory of what they say about the trip. Looking out the windows can be solved with a simole "we're experiencing a lot of solar activity today, so the window curtains have been closed and locked for your protection". After all, growing up like he did seems to have made him naive enough to buy that. Also, they're coming for you... *cue the theme from Jaws*

Well, is it? There's an easy way to test that. Just go to Europe and see if your eyes change. Or you can ask someone you know who's been to Europe. I can guarantee your eyes will most likely not change based upon your location. This is true in a way, since different cultures actually see a different number of colours (not related to colour blindness). This is due to them calling different colours and shades the same name. One language might have a name each for blue, turquoise and green. A person who grew up with another language might only have a name for blue and green. So when they look at a colour map, they see blue, which turns into green. While they see the same colours as a person with names for turquoise, they have no name for it, and won't experience the intermediate colour. But that's all in the mind, and it doesn't change when you travel.

I ordered the book a week ago. So I will give a review from the view of a complete idiot in the field, once it arrives.

Use one of Kirchoff's laws to solve it. I can't look it up properly now, but you might or might not have to apply it to all points where the currents would "meet". http://www.tpub.com/doeelecscience/electricalscience261.htm
