  1. What the hell microsingularities, string theory,2036.Hmm maybe he was a scientist that was hit in the head and became insane.
  2. Wow that guy must have been crazy. What a waste of time. How is time travel possible anyway.
  3. Sometimes children can get the wrong message on whats being represented in a movie or game.Sure it can help them when theyre older but you dont always want to think about something you saw.
  4. What a nice story, anymore? Ratings+violence+sex=bad things
  5. I think that cells are cells. And that they have no conciousness.
  6. A shere has one side, for those still wondering.
  7. Tesseract

    Genome

If anyone wants to post something about the human genome go ahead.
  8. Tesseract

    Genome

Thank you, I really needed that.
  9. Tesseract

    Genome

Anyone know where to find the human genome in its entirety (if its possible)?
  10. Oh..then thank you .Anyway back to my question how many sides.
  11. I dont know of any 5d shapes, I do know of 8d fractals. For example the Cantor set.Heres an explanation. The Cantor set, named after German mathematician Georg Cantor, is a remarkable construction involving only the real numbers between zero and one. The middle third (1/3, 2/3) is deleted from the interval [0, 1], leaving [0, 1/3] ∪ [2/3, 1]. Now the "middle thirds" of each of the remaining intervals are removed. Continue this process ad infinitum. The Cantor set is whatever is left of the interval [0, 1] after this infinite process. Pictorially, the process would look something like this: 0 1/3 2/3 1
  12. So how many sides did we agree a sphere has???
  13. Thank you, thank you very much. For your cynicism.
  14. I dont think Sayonara thought to much when he made his word up, to me it dosnt make sense. No offense, just saying. You probably didnt want to make it make sense anyway...
  15. So I might just be messed in the head today but I dont see hwo that answers my question or previous post. Just saying.
  16. I still dont understand where its world is.Does not each dimension exist in the same place but merely cannot be seen by humans.People can only see up to 3 dimensions I dont think anybody could see a hypersphere anywhere, even if they do move through the earth (assuming 4d objects actually move and there exists some kind of sentient 4d being, which I would have great trouble understanding if I tried the graspthe concept).Anyway I believe (although maybe heterodoxically) that there is only a multidimensional plane (space probably) where all the dimensions are superimposed one on another, and the human brain differentiates these dimesions and interprets them. For we cannot phisically see a 4d object but only through mathematics can we theorize on a probable interpretation of one. Even when we represent a 4d object (such as a tesseract), we are only seeing the object on a 2d or 3d plane instead of a multidimensional plane where all dimensions can be expressed naturally (not interpreted). Im just saying, thats my opinion on that.
  17. I wasnt serious about my post because this is a good debate. But a nice word like that would be helpful.
  18. What do you mean its world.I thought all the dimensions coexist in the same area. Is space-time (3 dimensions and time) seperate from the 4th dimension or the others (assuming that there are others, such as in string theory).
  19. I meant a word that explains how many sides, or if iui dosnt have sides what it has.If we had a word like that there would be no reason for this thread.
  20. Since I have never seen a hypershere, Id assume that was it, but I know what your saying. Maybe its a sliced up glome.
  21. There should just be another word in the english language that is capable to describe a shere without having to wonder how many sides it has. Since, if we dont get a genious around here well never figure out the answer that is 100% right.
  22. Still its only possible to theorize the form a 4d object would have. But in all probability it is probably like the ones representable in 3d or 2d planes.Such as the hypercube, simplex, or glomerate.
  23. I always thought the short form for glomerate was glome.Anyway the thread under this one asks the same thing but with a spere.
  24. The only way it will be possible to see a 4d objet is if we are able to move in the fourth dimension. Now humans are only capable of moving 3 dimensions.Up,down, left, right, and forward and backward.Until we figure out another way to move we can only speculate about the fourth dimension.(as being spatial)
