reaganomics BLOW. how many people here had stock in enron?
-
yes, but they would have killed plenty of soldiers on the beaches of tokyo

when producing nitric, work in a well ventilated area. rubber will not save you from the nitric anhydride evolved, nor will clothes, nor will skin. nitric anhydride will rip straight through you. i suggest using large bags to keep the gas contained.

but not the reason for our record defecits suddenly coming from our record surplus
-
im not sure how valid that last source is considering it's heavily biased
-
lol good call! haven't been there in awhile.
-
source?

come now, it's not that hard. if somebody is trying to influence somebody, they present evidence. if the subject learns things contrary to what the presenter presented, they will change their opinion. otherwise, a greater impact may be made than that which would be made by telling complete truth with points and counterpoints against the presenter's thesis.

amen, dream lord. people keep blindly accusing kerry of not earning his purple hearts and silver star. he's not a masochist. more importantly, bush was sitting around not showing up for duty safe and sound in the united states. the issues are more important. if you think the christian way is to vote bush because he is a crusader, anti-abortion and anti-homosexual rights, you're wrong; they're not christian values. if you think bush is a better candidate for some other reason, you're wrong; he's plunged our economy from the greatest surplus ever to the greatest defecit ever, made the world hate us and sent our country to war against a country that had not had a thing to do with us, killing hundreds of thousands of iraqis and over a thousand americans for his own economic benefit. in the words of ratm, WAKE UP!
-
he has points to prove. i never said he wasn't deceptive, rather i addressed the fact that he only told truth in his latest film.
-
ay, as i said above he was not in iraq, and if he was going anywhere it was kuwait
-
with regard to your first point, one cannot say that the number of protesters determines the originality of the situation. with regard to your second point, bush scrapped the majority of his walk, so the statement was mostly accurate. one block makes little difference. with regard to your third point, richard clarke's decision represented the white house. with regard to your final point, i would like to quote your article: at the time this article was written, he was in the united states. if he has gone anywhere since then, it is in the united states or kuwait. i would like to commend you on finding legitimate sources.
-
blike, could you give me some sources? as of now, since you have not given sources and moore's facts were checked, he is more credible. if you come back and give me valid sources, i would appreciate it.

the sodium and hydrogen cations dissociate when it is dissolved, just like with any ionic substance.

i think i can remember a way to produce N2O that isn't terribly exothermic... would you like laughing gas?
-
in the same concentration, a little more acidic than hydrobromic
-
or so you think. apparently you lack common sense and a keen eye for reading. you need to end your slander now.
-
but his facts were checked and they were all valid, accurate facts. we all have lied in the past. he didn't lie in this film. newbie, don't post if you don't have anything to support your blind statements.

ah, ok, if you want something better than dry ice... potassium nitrate and sucrose makes a great cloud but burns at 1700 celcius and the gas would make you cough. the problem is that when you have a thick smoke, it will be different from air and won't contain adequate amounts of [math]O_2[/math] which will cause people to cough. things that release smoke tend to be exothermic reactions and so temperatures will increase significantly. frankly i don't see how this could possibly work; even if you have things that sublime and give off minimal kinetic energy they will still be unpleasant to breathe.
-
that's another way of putting it

ay, all halogens attack your mucous membranes causing you to drown in your mucous and blood.

here; i'll look up some statistics. H-F bond delta [math]HF_2_5[/math] is 135.8 H-Cl bond delta [math]D_0[/math] is 102.3 give or take 0.1 (the measurement is similar to the HF2_5). H-Br bond delta [math]HF_2_5[/math] is 87.5 give or take 0.1 H-I bond delta [math]HF_2_5[/math] is 71.3 give or take 0.1 H-At i couldn't find mainly because, essentially, At doesn't exist. the bond between a higher halogen and hydrogen is stronger than that of a lower halogen and hydrogen, and so lower hydrohalides dissociate more than higher hydrohalides. come to think of it i was quite stupid to look that information up when i could have looked up dissociation constants. oh well, here they are (note: these are all [math]pK_1[/math] values. HF=3.18 HCl=-6.1 HBr=-9 HI=-9.5

amen! good to see you here, chem-maniac. i have relatives who bear the name schwartzentruber, and i long to go to the fatherland someday. how is it over there?

only 1% of CO2 dissolves in H2O and 1% of that forms H2CO3. it isn't a real molecule but rather it's the O2 from CO2 attracting an H2O molecule and separating it into H+ and OH- ions that float near the CO2 giving the impression of H2CO3.
-
true, that. and i'm a post ahead of you again:) ay, good stuff, no?
