  1. ok, you added an extra A but it's ok N2O is used to oxidize organics at temps above 300 celsius. it also can be oxidized easily enough to make nitrites. it's versatile in that sense. oh, and it is the anhydride of hyponitrous acid
  2. sucralose is the best alternative. no known health problems to my knowledge. and to imagine, all they did was replace a hydroxyl group from glucose with a chlorine atom.
  3. no worries. glad to be of service
  4. then you have an excess of sulfuric acid with your bisulfate
  5. you can't have calcium hydroxide solution. it's almost completely insoluble. however, if you have sulfuric acid and add solid calcium hydroxide, an acid base reaction will occur. if you do the reaction in a 1:1 ratio, you should get an equilibrium with primarily CaSO4 and H2O. if you do it in a 1:2 ratio of calcium hydroxide to sulfuric acid, you should get Ca(HSO4)2 and H2O
  6. what?
  7. carbonates and bicarbonates decompose in acids
  8. the carbonic acid is an intermediate of the reaction, so it's not actually a product
  9. "because it seems employees are actually the boss of a company, why we cant fire people at wish???" are you kidding me? "Secondly, I use to hate Communist countries as well, but it seems China is a really tricky case...." china's economy isn't communistic anymore. really.
  10. nope. NaHCO3+HCl -->NaCl+CO2+H2O
  11. it only acts acidic if it's wet or fused
  12. the answer is no, because it's really an ionic compound rather than a molecule
  13. calcium hydroxide solution would be incredibly dilute. consequently, the pH will be ever so slightly above 7, but hardly alkaline. for all intents and purposes, alkaline earth hydroxides are only effective as alkalines when they are added to acidic solutions.
  14. it's meant to be read as is. i don't think that liberals are by definition pessimistic
  15. technically one could say that ethanoic acid isn't a compound...
  16. "Thats pretty cool. Is it a really good band or something? Ps Where in NY are you from?" it's like...disco/house music. my friend has euro-dance parties in his basement every so often and it suffices. i'm from the capital district
  17. you know, the funny thing is that i had that song LONG before that video was created. a friend of mine went to montreal and found the o-zone cd. i heard dragostea din tei and despre tine before this was conceptualized. fancy that.
  18. who does not hope for success? certainly not liberals
  19. we dont have to support the president, mind you. we can hope for success, however
  20. ethanoic acid is polar...
  21. i dont think that these "extremists" you are talking about can be classified as "liberal"
  22. Cu(OH)2 is really insoluble. like. you could put, say, 100g in 100mL water and you'd get a very small fraction of a gram to dissolve. moreover, the pH would be like 7.000005
  23. never. sorry man but that article proposes a pointless concept. it just isn't going to happen. ever. remember, they're the ones that invented gunpowder. they're the ones who could, with their army, land people on most countries and take it with numbers. they're the ones who have influence over hong kong, the place where what, 95+% of all commerce goes through? remember, they're the place with the soon-to-be strongest economy. mao tse-dong gets the last laugh.
  24. so wait, what's wrong with kennedy?
  25. oh, and btw, please never, ever mistake reactivity for activity
