How far should the US take separation of Church and State?
budullewraagh replied to blike's topic in Politics
not really. hannity is nuts, man -
i completely agree that that is a bunch of bs. should we then register all animals who have committed homosexual acts and move them to antarctica as well?
-
yeah i used that site:\ thanks tho

im resistent to chlorine:\ if it's remotely dangerous you'll see the greenish-yellow colour of the gas i'd rather not make potassium. it's really nasty to electrolyze. the hydroxide and chloride spit and hiss and all that, launching molten balls of potassium around. many of them catch fire as well

darwin effect...

that wasnt coherent...but i think i can comprehend what you were saying i am one of your straight bretheren and i offer you a pat on the back. my regrets that you have had some difficulties with fools i would like to add that if you have a place to rant, please don't do it here:\

perhaps i overreacted. i do not have a particular affinity for mathematics:\ perhaps the whole "experts only" thing was the thing that set me off

pi*r^2=pi*d r^2=d 2^2=4 the answer is 2...this wasn't advanced :\ took me like 5 seconds to determine what formula to do, 3 seconds to figure out how to do it and maybe 5 seconds to do the work

damn i really was not thinking earlier. the velocity is going along tangent to the orbit and acceleration is going inwards
-
um, "bill gates satan inc" wtf man?
-
ah ok thats cool then. i thought you were accusing me of being lazy for not finding links myself. in truth, i researched on and offline for hours but there were things i just couldnt find

can anyone provide a link to information about moissan's experiment? i know that he used a cooled platinum u-tube, KHF2, HF and iridium-platinum alloy electrolytes and that he did this in 1886, but i do not know the exact date and i also feel there are a few other things i could incorporate in a paper i am writing on fluorine. as a sort of prologue i intend to write a paragraph on the actual time and place of discovery of fluorine. i'll post the paper later when i finish

Majocracy the power of people not the politicians.
budullewraagh replied to RawThinkTank's topic in Politics
this kid doesn't know when to give up we just proved that majocracy is not even remotely effective. SCREW THE PEOPLE. "the people" do not always know what is legal or best for them. "the people" control the power to oppress minorities. "the people" are the downfall of society in your government. if you give "the people" full power you doom them to failure. there are no "wrong" views so you can stop being an elitist. oh and btw, "U" doesn't provide emphasis. try for "YOU" or YOU. not that many doctors are also politicians, in case you were wondering. they tend to not have the time to do things on the side like that. especially such important things as politics. with regard to your hopelessly idealistic view on parties not existing, i laugh. you cannot eliminate the entire party system, nor can you prevent parties from meeting. corruption is just a part of human nature. "power corrupts; absolute power, absolutely"- never forget lord acton's words. a leader WILL form a party on the premise that he can smite the opposition. you know, that last line makes it sound like the us...except wait, we don't use that around here even when we have fools in the executive branch. the government will just control the military and prevent an uprising from being successful. tell me about the success of your business strategy. this is not going to be a revolution in evolution. what you need for this to happen successfully is a huge revolution in evolution, but you cannot change human nature. sorry buddy -
agreed, wholeheartedly

well yes, but the only things that have this property i listed above
-
get Li from batteries. get Na by electrolyzing the fused chloride. for Ca, electrolyze the fused chloride, altho it will get a bit nasty
-
simply put, gravitational and electromagnetic forces pull the electron in but centripetal force pushes it out. the difference of the forces pulling the electron in and pushing it out are equal

yeah, thanks background: i am writing a paper on fluorine. i'll post it later

does anyone know the exact structure of glass? i know it is silicon dioxide...but i've heard it arranged tetrahedrally so that there are a bunch of Si-O-Si-O-Si bonds happening with O-Si-O-Si-O going up vertically from each of the Si atoms in the above horizontal pattern. eventually these patterns end. if the Si were to doubly bond the oxygen at the end, the Si would be making 5 bonds... and i know they dont ALL end in Si-O-H because fluorine doesn't attack glass THAT quickly so...what does it look like exactly at the ends?

agreed with wholeheartedly

How to find compound by knowing mass and percentage composition
budullewraagh replied to umer007's topic in Applied Chemistry
the term doesn't change the properties:\ -
the only substances that share this property with water are bismuth, gallium, germanium and antimony
