  2. um, sudan ring a bell?
  3. blame the soviets! i mean russians! wait theyre soviets now and communists!
  4. well...i know you can get antimony trioxide online. if you want to fluorinate it, you can, but you could easily die doing it.
  5. yeah, dragon, i definitely know how pentafluoroantimonic acid works. thanks tho
  6. yeah, i have my basement lab...kinda bad for doing gas yielding reactions tho:\
  7. i take it the H2C2O4 is oxalic acid. if it isn't, this doesnt work 2KMnO4 + 5H2C2O4 + 3H2SO4 ---> 1K2SO4 + 2MnSO4 + 4H2O + 10CO2
  8. take for instance the genocide we are ignoring
  9. oh, i've been completely honest. i just tried viewing things from a conservative perspective. it seems to be that the thought of him being, say, the SECOND worst president in history is enough for us to reelect him. am i correct?
  10. i see. so, he isn't QUITE the worst president in your minds and so he's worthy of reelection??
  11. how is this betting the farm? he is merely explaining one of the reasons why bush is a negligent fool
  12. the fact of the matter is that presidents dont lose jobs. the last one was hoover and that led to the great depression. "highest deficit in history" is accurate as well; http://www.sideshow.connectfree.co.uk/JustForTheRecord.htm
  13. i would agree..... as long as they are not cationic
  14. http://jersey.uoregon.edu/vlab/elements/Elements.html
  15. i would imagine that the 1,2-dioxetane-3,4-dione would be a decent oxidizer...but i dunno how effective it would be as it decomposes easily.
  16. no worries
  17. between, as in the time between, not during. i said BEFORE the war those were the ESTIMATES. regardless of the actual results, it shows something about the moral fiber of a president who is willing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of innocents.
  18. antimony pentafluoride isn't an acid. also, a 50% solution of antimony pentafluoride in hydrogen fluoride is 10^18 times more acidic than 100% sulfuric
  19. chem...supply stores? what dat? actually, we have a few glassware sellers around here but theyre so expensive that it's mostly ponitless...and no chemical suppliers. i have no access to nitrates, or halates or perhalates of any sort, for example. i have a great deal of lab work that i would like to do, but i need sulfuric acid for purification and extraction first, which i am having great difficulty obtaining.
  20. it's over a thousand it was 5,000 citizens, not hundreds. hussein was guilty of oppression, but the united states and britain are somewhat responsible (according to the UN) for the deaths of 500,000 iraqi children between the two wars. also, the civilian body count in iraq far outnumbers the casualties inflicted by hussein. before the war, the UN predicted hundreds of thousands of casualties. bottom line, get your facts straight and look at the entire issue
  21. kerry will win. the left is just too pissed off to let this one go. according to the new york times, kerry is ahead; 225 to 213. i believe that more democrats will show up at the polls than republicans just because theyre so pissed off
  22. mhm, and we dont have a brooks' pharmacy here
  23. perhaps but it would have to be a high temperature to start
  24. because i have only 8oz of potassium nitrate and 8oz of strontium nitrate... i cant buy ANY nitrates, chlorates or perchlorates where i live actually
