youre a civil libertarian but you support he who defies the constitution?

the acid in car batteries is like 40% so youd actually dilute it to get down to 1M

i strongly advise you to keep that neptunium away from neutron sources. don't leave your alpha sources near beryllium (which you probably dont have) and/or aluminum (which you probably do have), and dont let those neutrons come near your neptunium unless you wish to have your mRNA unfold

actually, our school never does cool chem labs. in fact, the most "dangerous" materials we worked with last year in my honors chem class are 18M sulfuric acid and fuming hydrochloric acid. we burned magnesium as well. thats it though. the AP class (which i will be in next year) works with materials that are a little more dangerous. the last lab the AP class does is a student-designed lab where people work in groups of two and design their own experiments. naturally everybody wants to do explosives, and a friend of mine actually got permission to do silver acetylide.

Lead oxide use in Pyro and how to make it.
budullewraagh replied to Aspirin's topic in Inorganic Chemistry
i'd imagine that they would be adding lead to something like 40% hydrogen peroxide or a 30-50% permanganate -
youd better hope that the neptunium isnt 238...ever. btw, the half life of 239 is 2.355 days...i believe you have the wrong isotope

actually, a friend of mine was given permission to make silver acetylide for his last AP chem lab of last year. instead he chose to do something else:\ got a little scared

transition metals get "excited" electrons sometimes; electrons jump to a higher energy level. when they jump back, they release energy as visible light. copper+2 cations are +2 because they have an extra excited electron

Lead oxide use in Pyro and how to make it.

haha, that's really funny. we did an AP bio lab on this a few weeks ago by the way, what lead oxide do you want? the monoxide or the dioxide? -
Matter vs. Antimatter- particle destruction
budullewraagh replied to MolecularMan14's topic in Chemistry
last i checked a neutron consisted of an electron and a proton, so i would imagine that a positron and negatively charged proton united as if like a neutron would be an anti-neutron -
im not going to tell you. have fun unfolding your mRNA

are you trying to make silver acetylide or something?? don't; it's bloody insane

Soap Making and the movie "Fight Club"

haha. you know, i dont see why they dont use nitrogen monoxide, as it is the nitrogen monoxide from decomposition of ng that has the effect of dialating blood vessels -
they dont want to pay for next year's classes because they believe the courses are not necessary. i believe the same, but i am like a sponge for knowledge and i strive for it all the time. it is my will to learn, and i will, even if i must pay for it

university is free as well? it's sorta funny here; public school is free, but once you get to college it costs upwards of $50k just for tuition for some schools
-
the latter goes low because it's an ionic compound

college is really competitive here. if i take classes when i am younger i will look more attractive to colleges when i apply. also, i like chem and even AP (college level) chem is too easy. also, just so you know more about schooling in the us, we go to school at age 5 for "kindergarten". then we go into first grade, second, etc until fifth. that is called elementary school. then we go to middle school for grades 6-8. grades 9-12 are high school. after 12 is college, although in high school, one can take college courses, as i have been doing.
-
actually youre both wrong:\ i am a junior in high school now. after this school year, in the summer, i intend to go to college to take classes. i intend to go back to high school after next summer in order to finish my high school education. i intend to go to college after high school and then graduate school. my parents are willing and able to pay for my collegiate and graduate studies, but are not willing to pay for college classes next summer. as a result, i must pay for them. they are going to be expensive, so i will need to save my money. thus, i most likely will not be buying a good hotplate anytime soon

what the hell? that's mildly amusing, but im not so sure why

funny how they dont have electric frying pans in england but they sell nitric acid to lower soil pH
-
cesium chloride can be found at the al-chymist's site. just do electrolysis on it and you'll have your cesium metal
-
i hadnt heard of it until today. they sell for about half the price of unitednuclear's german dark aluminum. good stuff
-
actually, it doesnt. i'd appreciate it if you were civil. i wont even answer that question. perhaps you could be a bit more insightful. you mean "socialists"? ("socialist" isn't a noun that is posessing a lack of noun). what has the fact that the communist and socialist parties of america are endorsing kerry have anything to do with anything?

um...it would decay before it got to your house anyway well, imagine an organic perchlorate. think about it for awhile... it reduces SO easily it's rediculous. as a result it is an incredibly powerful oxidizing agent
