  1. i agree that it makes sense that one would consider quality. however, as john said, when the vp is making $60 million/year and claiming it's not from his former office, that's complete bs. when the president is giving 5 times the amount required to do the work without even considering other business, that's horrible. when the president purchases stock in these companies and has his friends purchase stock in these companies and give him kickbacks, you have another tammany hall
  2. ammonium sulfate isn't [math](NH_4)_2SO_2[/math] it's [math](NH_4)_2SO_4[/math] the reason why you dont need equal amounts of ammonium hydroxide and hydrogen chloride is that hydrogen chloride dissociates much easier than ammonium hydroxide does. as a result, it takes more moles ammonium hydroxide to bring the pH of a solution up than, say potassium hydroxide.
  3. more than that. look at haliburton. i strongly oppose handing out contracts for rediculous sums of money without competition. by the way, this allows the president and his friends to obtain stocks from these corporations and reap the benefits of having awarded the contracts (we taxpayers pay for their own personal benefit in the stock market)
  4. yep, the north is silent, but carries a bloody huge stick
  5. which is why if i were any more pissed off i'd support oligarchism
  6. well, if it is the truth, which it is, it should be known
  7. well, i was charged $7.50, the flat rate of all unitednuclear materials
  8. personally i don't like mercury and its compounds too much. and also the idea of attempting to make something i -don't know anything about -dont know the formula of is not good. also, consider the fact that a bunch of societs died working with it... no way man
  9. yeah i thought it was allawi... if it becomes a referendum on iraq, i have lost my faith in the voting population. iraq is definately not the greatest of our worries. the republicans need to face the facts: the economy blows and bush and co screwed us all what about social security? what about social issues such as human rights? what about international affairs (aside iraq)? seriously; the bush administration is attempting to play up iraq and terrorism when they arent the major issues
  10. speaking of aluminum powder...i'm getting some of the ultrafine 2 micron particle sized german imported dark aluminum dust among other chems from unitednuclear in a few weeks. order went out with the mail today
  11. well if you wanted to synth it, you'd probably use an antimony polyatomic oxide anion and some mercury... it would be a bit sketchy
  12. you know, those thousand monkeys in the coalition are probably pissed at kerry right now... as for the prime minister, of course he is a puppet; he was appointed! of course bush would make sure chalawi would be sovereign to him he said otherwise earlier this year because he had figured the situation would get better but bush ruined it even more
  13. that's pretty sick stuff. is that all you know?
  14. i'm not so familiar with red mercury. can anybody shed some light?
  15. nah... lithium is a great reducing agent. it replaces every cation of course, but just so you know, it's for other thermites and such.
  16. yeah; i had a little lithium oxide from extracting lithium from batteries and unfortunately i got rid of it. i would have liked that deep red coor the sodium chloride doesn't really have much effect on black powder. for a fleeting instant it becomes yellow, yes, and it doesn't change the properties of the smoke
  17. i am sorry to hear of your father's wounds. my dearest sympathies are extended unto both of you. my father served in the second world war. he never got a purple heart for the time a hatch closed on his ankle. he was mildly rewarded for saving a nearby fleet by warning them of an attack once. actually, he was left to die on an island at one time but he swam back after finishing his duties... war blows
  18. have you ever worked with wood's metal? i haven't but i've heard it's really interesting
  19. oh, we hear you but we don't believe you are making a significant point
  20. there were connections between rumsfeld and hussein...but thats obviously to be swept aside...
  21. douglas, credibility isn't necessarily a product of nonpartisanship.
  22. ok, who are you going to trust, written primary source documents or some voter whore's words? i fail to see the validity of that image. kerry met a communist leader. ashcroft met sadaam husein. reporters met osama bin laden. whats the problem?
  23. there is a physics principle that states that at absolute zero, an unreachable number by thermodynamical and mathematical principles, electrons move
