  2. yeah good idea! sorted into fiction and non-fiction etc. etc. with books to do with science maths or chemistry etc. etc.
  3. I mean the customs or whatever did the right thing but they should of let the guy go afterwards cause after 9/11 no-one knows what Osama is up to.
  4. yeah, well once during a cross-country run, it was at like 1pm while the sun was like burning my already burnt skin. The run was like a 6km run with my class, and I kind of blacked out, it was incredibly weird, cause I was still running and I felt kind of faint but I did’nt really go down. But after the run my vision was still kind of blurry – so lucky me I got to miss the maths assessment that was next.
  5. oh com'on guys!! we're in the 21st century now... not in WWII do they even sell them anymore?

  7. I don’t know… It probably wont boost your intelligence, but I have observed myself listening to some heavy metal music, (Stonesour to be exact – they’re really good. Especially the new one, silly world) that song got me fired-up and warmed up without even going for a warm-up jog. Quite incredible really.
  8. Nitrogen eh? Well Nitrogen is a chemical element that has the symbol N and the atomic number 7 (I’ll leave it to you to find out what a atomic numbert is and how a element gets it’s symbol) and is colourless, odorless and tasteless. It exists in the air we breath and lots of stuff contain nitrogen (such as our flesh or ammonia). And it has five electrons in it’s outer shell. it was found by Daniel Rutherford in 1772, (you should go look into him in depth) and ill leave it to you to find out the rest in the sites below http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrogen http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele007.html what YT2095 said would be a great idea http://www.physicalgeography.net/fundamentals/9s.html

  13. nooooo!!!! what I’m trying to say (with great difficulty) is that what type of ipod or MP player is the best value for money, and which ones work the best, eg my Sony NWE013FN MP3 Walkman - 1GB Flash Memory with FM Tuner cost me $799 but it’s really bad so don’t buy it.. Or you could say what you’re favourite type or audio player is and vote for it, ok?
  14. Well they don’t really listen to anybody do they. eg; when a pitbull is mauling a child, do you really think he’ll just stop and come to you if you just said “here boy, come here, whoo’s a good boy, come here you little puppy!” Yes he’ll probably stop, look at you, then plod over to where you are and tear you into pieces. you got that right this is where you went wrong, confident and consistent handling will not stop the dog from attacking if it wants to, eg. you can’t stop a rapper from acting gangster. neither can you stop an Englishwoman’s tea obsession. It’s just their personality – to be aggressive. yes it’s safe but it really isnt safe to the public. so are you saying that it’s their owners saying to them “go bite that kid.” Let me tell you something, most dog attacks happen out of the owners property (over 50%) while their owners are not present, obviously because if your dog was about to attack someone you would certainly pull him or her away. even if it didn’t have any handling it could do a lot of harm I have to agree with you on this one. but look, sadly neither a good owner nor a bad owner will change a pitbulls personality. eg. a border collie is born to herd, it loves to run and if you keep it in a house it’ll probably go mad. While a Maltese is born to live in a house. This goes for the same for a pitbull – it’s born to fight.
  15. In every way. Like iNow said, volcanic eruptions give out carbon dioxide (greenhouse gases). This causes the greenhouse effect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_effect If you want me to blab on about the greenhouse effect I will do so. When the sun’s energy enters the earth’s atmosphere most of the energy is reflected off back into space by the ozone layer. However some of the energy comes into the earth’s atmosphere and is absorbed by the land, trees, sun-bathers, etc. etc. Then some of the energy is reflected again back towards space, the atmosphere traps the heat and sends it back into earth (like a ping-pong match). However the ozone layer is breaking down because of the chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or Haloalkane emitted by fridges and batteries. These are dangerous and are the main cause of the decay of the ozone layer. More energy and light is entering into the earth and the ratio of carbon dioxide and oxygen is unbalancing. The CO2 is trapping the heat, as the heat rises our ice polar caps will melt, thus causing the sea levels to rise. Now you may think that is not a big problem, you just wait a couple of centuries and by that time when you walk to the corner store you will probably be waist high water flowing everywhere. Earthquakes sometimes tear apart facilities that produce CO2, hence letting the gas escaping into the atmosphere. Earthquakes cause debris that pollute the water or land, thus killing trees, thus lowering the CO2 and oxygen balance.
  16. I’m not new but I hardly ever go on the forum. I’m not a scientist but I’m training to be a vet, and I might go into law studies (Im 16) and I sometimes waste my time at the SPCA doing part time work.
