I've never heard of that k4, it looks quite interesting, I'll have to test it out sometime. That probably falls under my definition of lack of expandability! As for VB, I've never really liked it beacuse its pay software and not open source. There is quite alot of advanced features, but I think its only practical for large communities. If you don't mind me asking, what type of community are you thinking of implementing, if any?

I'd go for phpBB. I have never much liked SMF, mainly because of the liscense and lack of expandability. phpBB has got a large community and a large selection of mods + templates available.

Q: So the GCSE Science "Reactivity Series" is totally different to the real one? thanks.

This is a smaller one that is suitable for your reaction, and might be abit more easier to understand, dependant on your level. Just submit sodium carbonate as your base, and iron as your catalyst. Hope this helps!

This is a representation of the chemiluminescense reaction that happens with Luminol. Chemiluminescense only occurs with luminol when it is in a basic aquarious solution so thats what the sodium carbonate is for i guess. The hydrogen peroxide is used as the primary oxidant in the chemiluminescense reaction. Many different metal ions (such as iron) catalyse the whole reaction to increase the oxidation speed, thus light production. Was it just this specific reaction you were interested in, or chemiluminescence in general?

By american deifnition, what is a "school administrator"?

im just adding the finishing touches to my reation rates coursework. It is an investigation into how temperature affects the rate of reaction between hydrochloric acid and magnesium. ive drawn a linear graph with my results, with a line of best fit, and worked out the lines gradient to 0.42 s/degrees C. i know what the gradient is, its just i dont know what it actually shows me in terms of the rate of reaction. thanks.

"Cellular respiration is the process in which the chemical bonds of energy-rich molecules such as glucose are converted into energy usable for life processes." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_respiration the definition of life is a tricky one, and i doubt there is a widely accepted term for it, only identified features.

Can emotion be explained scientifically? I havent done alot of research into this area of psychology, but have found that it is usually only philosophied by society with no real scientific definition and explanation. It might sound stupid but i dont really go for the whole bad explanation of "feelings" as an explanation. A link will do if you dont fancy explaining it... Thanks

forgot to mention that the shdocvw.dll library is the browser object thingy you said. it certainly looks like that.
-
added me, not sure what it was at first.

i dont really think this can be called a browser. can i presume that your using the shdocvw.dll library, which is really just internet explorer anyway?

i always thought they were real, however strange.

look up the Guthrie test, its a test done on newborns in most countries for things like phenylketonuria and cystic fibrosis etc. Its caused from a defective gene not being able to produce the PAH enzyme. Its the PAH that turns phenylalanine into tyrosine. thats all i can remember.
