  1. i understand that you can't use liquids. i was just wondering. hence the "i wonder.........." so it may not, if it stays buoyant? isn't shock transferred through liquid?
  2. it's already tomorrow in Australia.
  3. i may be a bored, male teenager, but i'm honestly not interested in pornography, or masturbation. i find it to be a waste of time, and there's a lot more i could be doing with my time. at our school, Google image search is blocked because of the rest of my school's degenerate population. it makes it extremely difficult to make a decent Powerpoint during class. also, all forums are blocked. so i wouldn't be able to access this site at school. if you're going to make those sort of comments, you should go to totse.
  4. btw, i would like to say this right now. i frequent the totse.com forums, and i must say, i like it much better here. you guys are intelligent people who are willing to discuss various issues in a civil, intelligent environment. totse may be good for laughs, but most of them are just stupid. i would like it stated how much i appreciate this sort of environment.
  5. in short, i'm bored_teen. in long, i'm a teenager with nothing better to do than discuss why certain words are dirty. btw, that question has yet to be answered. i'm not saying anything about age. what i personally want to know is why words are dirty at all. watch some dog shows. guess what word is tossed around more than any other. bitch. ass used to be the term for donkey. so was jackass. how did these words become dirty? 100 years from now, using the word mustard might get you a one-way ticket to Hell. WHY??? come to think of it, hell is a bad word too. yet supposedly the devil doesn't exist and is just a fairytale to get kids to behave. that's the real issue here. why are words dirty? how did they adopt such negative connotations? they are words. that's all they are. words.
  6. why? and how would i do it? would i just put an OS on a CD?
  7. is it the kind of plasma stars are made from, or the kind you get when you do stuff to blood?
  8. yup. I have a question, by the way. Why is it ok for black people to call eachother "nigger" or "nigga", but when a white person does it, it's immediatly rascist?
  9. exactly. we have to watch our mouths. WHY??? they are just words. why are they "dirty"? the phrase "I don't give a damn" originated from another language being "I don't give a dam". The dam used to be a form of money in India. It was a coin that wasn't worth very much. So pennies = cuss words? am i the only one seeing something wrong with this?
  10. one edge may only hit, but it only becomes a slap if it is stopped completely at the time of impact. if you can (no, i'm not making fun of you or suggesting you are unable; most people can't do it very well because they haven't done it before), throw a card at a wall. it bounces off, usually. it hasn't completely stopped. it continues to spin, which causes friction, which may/may not cause a cut/abrasion to the surface of the wall, depending on various factors.
  11. oh, i understand that completely. i realise that certain phrases i have used are against the rules to which i agreed to register. i still have the right to say it, but SFN also has the right to ban me for it.
  12. Elvis is dead. He is also the only man to produce a #1 hit single 20 years after his death.
  13. whoa, whoa, WHOA. microwaving grapes creates plasma?!?!? you would think scientists would go somewhere with this...
  14. i honestly don't know what you just said, Bignose. i'm 15 years old. i can honestly say that yes, it was an exaggeration. but did you take into account that a buzzsaw has many edges on the blade, while a card has only 4? lemme rephrase my previous post. on Mythbusters, they made a device that shoots a card at 155 mph. but that device didn't take into account spin; the card didn't spin when it was shot, it flew straight. that makes it more of a slap than a cut. a spinning card will cut while a non-spinning card won't. i'm not sure why. i'm not sure why a lot of things work. my informal theory is that a spinning card will create friction on impact, cutting the skin. the same reason why you can touch a razor and not get cut unless you run your finger over the blade. Bignose, i respect you for coming back at me with complex equations, but i'm not impressed that you lacked the sense to notice such an eccentric hyperbole. i don't really know where i'm going to find these sources. but i'm a bored teen, so maybe i'll stumble across something.
  15. this isn't one of those stupid Lenny Conundrums from Neopets, is it
  16. freedom of speech is one thing. political correctness is another. and suggestion of a felony is something else altogether. we DO have free speech in America. but we'll be jailed for writing a threatening letter to the President. why? because that is suggestion of a felony, which is against the law.we live in a politically correct society, so using derogatory slang will land you in trouble. just because it's not against the law doesn't mean it's right. and you can bet someone will have a problem with what you say. they may/may not do something about it. but we have the right. so **** you, all you niggers, chinks, and beaners. just watch me get in trouble for that. then again, maybe i won't, due to the context of this post. so maybe this should be moved to psychology......... btw, i have absolutely nothing against those of African, Asian, or Mexican descent. those terms were used to merely prove a point.
  17. i wonder....... let's say you have an a liquid in which an egg would float. could you put the liquid in a container, put the egg in, seal it, and drop it without the egg breaking?
  18. i have an 80GB storage unit, and i had a few questions as to the potential applications of it. my idea is to partition it and put an OS on it. in theory, i could use my storage device, then load the OS and use applications off of it (internet, games), without school/library/wherever having record of my using them, or the internet history. as i said, this is my theory. would it work, though?
  19. lemme try this again. ****. **** **** ****. yup. censored. oh the irony.
  20. holy shit! did my post get censored????
  21. why does saying "**** you" make sense whilst "sex you" doesn't? or "you dirty bitch" vs. "you dirty female dog"? why are these words even bad? they are WORDS. to quote Dane Cook from Vicious Circle, "Words don't control us. Not anymore."
  22. guys, i just now joined this forum for the sole purpose of correcting you. but it looks...interesting. anyway........... the reason the 155mph card did jack shit was because they didn't account for spin. a card flying at you spinning at 155mph would probably cut to the bone. spin, in essence turns a card into a flying buzzsaw. furthermore, you can kill someone with a card. but that requires accuracy, as well as power. you need to either cut through an artery/vein, or hit them at a pressure point.
