It has both. All ionic solutions have a neutral charge in the end.

Vinegar would be a good choice. But use clear vinegar, not the ones with coloring additives and stuff. Try connecting a graphite electrode to the anode and a rusted piece of iron to the kathode. Apply a small voltage and see the rust literally fall off .

That will require some basic redox reaction theory. Read up on that Basically: it reverts the oxidation reaction by stuffing the metal with electrons.

  5. Yeah /me points at the permanent big ass cyclone that jupiter has on its southern hemisphere
  6. Its a type one explosive, wtf do you think?
  7. Yeah, because aspirin is of course a lot more than just COOH, like Melvin stated.
  8. COOH is an acid group. HCl + NaOH gives water and NaCl, H2SO4 + 2 NaOH gives 2 water + Na2SO4 COOH + NaOH --> water and ???
  9. And we of course have to go to the site to view it as opposed to you giving a summarized version of it?
  10. Because only the first proton can be considered a strong acid. The other 2 are in an equilibrium state.
  11. Solid state = non volatile ram. Why the heck do you want that?
  12. Aminophenol is slightly acidic.
  13. We dont care?
  14. Sigh, since when are colors dimensions?
  15. Doesnt have to do much with studying as with stuff just snapping into place
  16. We arent doing your homework for you, and especially if you left it lying around until the very last day. Enjoy
  17. The water disappears in the solution. Its not like a seperate ion or something. It it water which is complexed to the copper, causing the blue color.
  18. Oxidation where iron(III) reacts with iron(0) i guess.
  19. Deceleration is simply a negative acceleration.
  20. What if you would balance the equation for 20 molecules gasoline, how many molecules CO would that give you, considering the fact that 1 molecule of gasoline accounts for 8 C?
  21. Depends on your definition of a "salt" of course but, SnCl4
  22. Particle vs wave form
  23. Stop pointing to that video of which you do not have the slightest clue of what is actually going on. No need to discuss what is going on as that would simply mean i have to point at IA's posts.
  24. Try to open a door when you are standing on skates on very slippery ice. You won't be able to, because you cannot maintain a foothold.
  25. Parallel universe might be the term you are looking for.
