    NaOH + CuSO4

What part of the last equation don't you understand? On top of that, sodium sulphate is a fairly soluble salt, ergo it does not form a precipitate that quickly, considering copper sulphate is far less soluble and you will not have much sulphate in the first place.
  2. /me steals Tolmosoff's parentheses. YARRR
  3. You cant compare a black hole to an actual hole. A black hole is simply a LOT of mass, concentrated in a single point. A point has no dimensions.
  4. Depends on the position of the halogen and the structure of the alkane. t-butylchloride is "easy" as you can replace the chlorine with hydroxide and then reduce it to t-butane.
  5. Pick the 24 water. Quantities used in the experiment are based on the molar weight (prolly in the first chapter of the manual what this means ) so with the 12 water you will introduce more of the salt than is needed.
  6. We are the humans, resistance is futile, you will be assimilated So yeah, it's more of a sociological than a physical evolution.
  7. Was the benzoic acid, generated by reacting with the acid in the first step, still soluble in water? Was it easy to extract when it wasnt water-soluble anymore?
  8. Nice summary. Now, what do you want us to do with it?
  9. You know that is already happening in the form of using the tides as a means to drive generators?
  10. It's very unsafe, so don't. I know you don't care about safety and will proceed with this stupid experiment anyway, but i'm still stating it. Chlorine gas isn't cool as it burns your lungs away. If you don't even care how redox chemistry works, you really shouldn't be messing with this stuff, and you will only act like a monkey guided by some 2nd rate recipe.
  11. Voltage? Nah, its Amperage or current that counts; the number of electrons you pump into the system.
  12. The ( ) are not needed in that part, as you simply are multiplicating a multiplication of 2 other terms. You will need to do that however, when it would have been (1.33 + T1)0.8
  13. Simple: 1.33xsin53xT1, and sin53deg is ofc just a simple number which you can work out first.
  14. Then provide valid proof instead of sounding like a broken record
  15. Yeah bad wording, sorry about that. I was right on the fluorine part though
  16. Teflon inner layer should be good. It should be chemically inert to halogens, as it is already saturated with fluorine. Teflon is also called: tetra fluor ethylene.
  17. Then be sure to label your fingers in advance.
  18. Some American had sex, the world as we know it is ending. Shees, Biblistic retards...
  19. You can, of course, throw i in there
  20. I dont know, maybe your subconcsious brain knows how long a second takes. You'd be surprised how often you can predict what time it is.
  21. If possible, as long as, well, possible. I'd hate to lose every bit of knowledge I gained during my life, like it all has been for nothing.
  22. As long as there is not a law forbidding masturbation, its not forbidden. Religious claims... well, that way. -->
  23. Lets all stop breathing instead. Carbon dioxide is NOT an issue, considering what nature itself releases each day. Furthermore, water vapour, as in clouds, is a greenhouse gas which is eight times as potent as carbon dioxide. Tell the oceans to stop vapourizing, would you kindly?
  24. Different chromosome numbers != sexes. This thread goes about penises, vaginas and something else.
