  1. No one can make a right or wrong statement here as we cannot imagine how 3 sexes would be like, simply because we do not HAVE 3 sexes.
  2. Resonance: the sides of the soundbox can reflect the sound, which is hitting all sides from a lot fo angles. Due to the shape of the soundbox, the reflected waves will amplify eachother, and focussing the sound outwards in a single direction.
  3. Almost, 1000000 ul = 1 litre, and the cytochrome came from the 3 ul sample.
  4. Or, very simple: the R from right
  5. w00000000000000t congrats
  6. Ok to add some fire to this discussion: there have been many observations of interspecies sex. The ones I remember are male dolphins raping about everything with a slit, whether it being female dolphins or sharks for example, or a chimpansee (iirc) having oral sex with a toad.
  7. The answers themselves are correct. Regardless of them being multiple choice, can you give your motivation for your answers?
  8. Then again, I DO see a major flow in your redenation. Stereotyping all chemistry people as them being a nerd.
  9. How far off are you from the answer from the site? (Which you failed to mention btw).
  10. Lava isnt plasma...
  11. And the reason that 2 batteries connected in parallel give twice as much Amp, is that there are twice as much elektrons pumped into the circuit at a given time limit.
  12. Reactive: paragraphs, look up what that word means and please employ it. In water, the strongest possible acid is always H+
  13. There will also be negative ions and charges present.
  14. Impossible to say without knowing the acceleration. Only thing you can calculate from this is Vavg
  15. You could start with benzoïc acid, methylate it to methylbenzoate, then nitrate it and reduce the nitrogroup with raney nickel. Enjoy Morale: its cheaper to just buy the stuff
  16. Keep in mind however that not every salt dissociates. CaCO3 doesnt dissolve in water and therefore should be written as CaCO3 (s).
  17. No that only applies when making an ester, i dont see recursive using any organic acid.
  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol <== a lot of stuff that can happen. Too bad organic chemistry doesnt follow theoretical studies as much as you want to
  19. Well what do you think would be easier to read: an equation polluted with ions which do nothing at all or an equation which isnt polluted with ions which do nothing at all? Its really the same as with mathematics where you can cross out certain stuff against each other. In both cases, a cleaned up equation is much easier to read and you see what is actually going on a lot quicker.
  20. Whenever i get those links, first thing i do is turn the sound off I rofl'd at the kid, banging the screen and such. Stupid amygdala, lol
  21. My eyes hurt... Learn how to type proper molecular formulas, buy a book, rid yourself of the idea that only explosions are fun, then we'll talk again.
  22. Sure you can: use a midget
  23. Electrolysing that will yield chlorine, not oxygen. Have you picked up a book yet?
  24. Indeed, this type of hydrogenation is usually accomplished by some kind of catalyst (activated palladium on a carbon carrier). Palladium holds the hydrogen on its surface, after which an alkene/alkyne is able to react with it.
  25. What is it with you and this kinds of stuff anyway? Sodium, chlorine, sulfur, fluorine? If you want to die so badly, just jump off a building. Not to discourage you or anything (chemistry is fun), but are you in any way aware of the dangers of those elements?
