Do any of you know that homosexuality could be considered a type of insanity. I think they make hormone meds for that type of insanity now-a-days.

SCIENCE:an organized system of ignorance
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Other Sciences
I didn't mean to be offensive to anyone, I myself strongly believe in science as one feature that make the world cooler and way more intersting. I simply tried to understand how this quote can be interpreted as By the way I took this saying from a song By ICP (halloween on Millitary st.) -
have any of you ever heard of Tabula Rasa. It explains how humans are born with a "Blank State" or in other words a blank mind. As we grow up we learn and develop along with our minds and bodies. As we develop we become strong and Smart. What we learn from our suroundings is what makes us "us". after understanding what we are told to understand and knowing we develop our personality along with our consciousness. It could be that our consciousness is just a series of neurochemical conections in our brains that allow us to learn, think, feel, and create.

where can I find fingernail sized hydraulic equipment
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Equipment
I just started this project so I'm kind of fresh on some of this but I'll do my best. If possible I plan to use a Car battery for my power source to a hydraulic motor I plan to crush anything in its power depending on how expensive I can make it and how powerful it can possibly get. The best I could find online on hydraulic companies was hydraulic system the size of an arm. There are some projects that probably do use this technology for robotic machinery but I haven't really looked any of them up, yet. I'm not to sure but I believe I'm going to use a gear pump. My financial limits are around $250 to $500. -
Is it possible that there is a scientific explanation for everything.

I'll try to get a picture of the concept I'm trying to explain -

I'm trying to construct a glove that can us miniture hydraulic machinery (on the retractable part of the fingers) to crush anything in its crushing power. To construct this hand I'm going to need hydraulic machinery small enough to bend 1/3 of my finger on every finger. -
Yes they set basic parameters. For example anger and happiness are progammed into you brain at birth for survival reasons. But the way you control your anger and hate are taught by dicipline and control from a parent or guardian. A perons Personality can be created throughout a group of people or a person for many reasons. One reason could be that thats how that person was raised so they raise their son/daughter the same way they were raised, not knowing their practically programming their child, but for a good reason. The other reason is that is how that culture or society works, and by "programming" or teaching their child at a young age he can continue the culture or society by passing on what he was taught as a child on to his child. But it is impossible to have a personality simply by being born and living.

SCIENCE:an organized system of ignorance

Good responses!! -
Not that I'm against science, or that I'm some type of religous person but I was wondering is science really an organized system of ignorace. I strongly believe in science, I believe it's what make the human race the greatest thing to happen to the universe and the most unique race in the universe, so far. I also believe that science may sometimes cross the line, between moral righteousness and phenomenal scientific breakthroughs. For example the atomic bomb, chemical warfare, cloning, etc. I myself don't have a true opinion on this subject, but I would really like to be interested in reading yours.

Does acceleration greatly affect gravity
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Classical Physics
Can it be possible to use the rotational gravity theory to create a successful gravity mimicing machine for astronauts to use in their spacecraft and not have as many problems with weightlessness. -

What force can the "artificial gravity" be considers as. -
Does acceleration greatly affect gravity
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Classical Physics
I know it's not "the gravity" but it's artificial gravity so it can be considered a type of gravity (if there is more than one type). -

I'm planning to make an exo-skeleton hand that uses hydraulic power to crush a metal can full of corn or anything else in its crushing power. -
Does acceleration greatly affect gravity
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Classical Physics
But do you think that by making the acceleration faster and more powerful we can create a artificial gravitational force strong enough to act similar to the gravitational field on earth. Thereby creating what one could consider gravity. -
Does acceleration greatly affect gravity
Killa Klown replied to Killa Klown's topic in Classical Physics
There was this experiment conducted by NASA in 1966. The experiment was conducted on the spaceflight gemini XI. The experiment involved using the rotation of a tether to create artificial gravity. It was both a sucess and a failure. It did create artificial gravity, but very little of it. -

Does acceleration greatly affect gravity

It's going on on the entire shpere or solar system -
I've thought of this new concept of gravity that I'm not sure if it is correct. I was wondering does acceleration affect gravity more than mass. See everything with gravity so far that we know of has some type of rotation going on. So does that mean that it is not mass that carries gravity but the force of acceleration (which also depends on the mass of the object to have a strong enough force to accelerate).

there no true now, only the passing of time.
-
If we are only recording the rotating of the earth then the Earth rotates at how many miles per hour?
-
Without time there is no past, present, or future. Without the past, present, or future there can be no universe (which practically runs on time).

I have been looking for hydraulic equipment for a science project I am planning to finnish before 2008, where can I find really small hydraulic equipment.

I think mathematics is not just a way of social discipline, but also somehow an instinct that is taught at a very young age. For example if you see a pencil on the floor and pick it up and find another pencil on the floor, and pick that one up too you instinctly know you have 2 pencils in your pocket.
