Clueless

Hey, I am currently studying basic chem, and i'm currently writing a paper on precipitation reactions- However I am uncertain as to what exactly an iconic solid is. Is it incorrect to say that it is basically a insoluble ionic compound? If not, then is it of the same structure as a iconic compound? Grateful to anyone who can help
