WHERE DOES FUNGI GET THEIR AMINOACIDS: FROM EXTERNAL PROTEIN DEGRADATION O JUST FROM TRADUCTION FROM mRNA?

I need good brainstorming for this and I know you all out there may help me one more time: Is there possible to obtein proteins from chalcopyrite via microbes?what kind of microbes would they be? and how biotecholgy would be implied?

I’m doing a research on bioremediation and some inquiries come up as I went deeper, here they are: 1.- Regarding fungi, the aminoacids that are used por protein synthesis, are they obtained from external proteins or do they synthesize themselves via translation and traduction? 2.- Is there possible to produce proteins in a industrial level from rocks (chalcopyrite). If so, what kind of metabolic pathways are there for that?
