Definition of militia, as pertaining to the second amendment.
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to jgerlica's topic in Politics
The reason that people in the U.K., Japan etc. drive on the left side of the road is that they were feudal states in the past. When travelling on the roads(ruts) a person would not allow a stranger (possible highwayman) to pass by them without keeping their sword between him/herself and said stranger. Since most people are right handed, they carried their swords on their right side, thus they would move to the left of the road to pass each other whilst placing their hand on the sword hilt to show that they were willing to defend theirself if necessary. The invention of the gun negated this ritual as you could shoot a person from a distance if you intended to do them harm and not have to wait until they were abreast of you as with a sword. -

LOL It inded could possibly involve that word, but I will keep the forum in suspense until Saturday before revealling how the gun influenced driving on the right side of the road. -
Definition of militia, as pertaining to the second amendment.
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to jgerlica's topic in Politics
"A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." - Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution The 2nd amendment's purpose is to allow for regular citizens to possess arms for their own protection as well as that of the State, as opposed to the paid Military which I believe is under Federal jurisdiction. The phrase "well-regulated" means to have arms in good repair and accessible, not regulated as in 10,000+ asinine rules to follow. This is how the founders of the United States of America tried to ensure that no future tyrant would be able to oppress the people of their great country. BTW, the gun is one of the reasons that North Americans drive on the right side of the road, as opposed to the left as in parts of Europe & Japan. Can you figure out why? -
ME. Learned at a very young age that the world is not what you are taught it is, as by age 6 I knew several things about life that we are not ever taught, such as but not limited to; Parents/relatives/loved ones are more likely to lie to you than anyone else. Religions are not about worship. Schools are really mis/disinformation factories. Though I knew these things at a young age I obviously could not comprehend the implications of this knowledge at the time.

Theory of the earth's inclination
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to mooeypoo's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
Earth Crust Displacement. This is Professor Charles H. Hapgood's theory that says the surface of the planet shifts all at once, due to weight of the polar ice caps and the centrifugal force of the Earth's rotation. It provides a logical explanation for the fact that many animals found frozen near the Arctic Circle had freshly eaten 'warm climate' vegetation in their bellies. It also provides a global catalyst for all the "Flood Myths" seen in different cultures. -
Black Holes What are they?
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to KHinfcube22's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
Seems to me that you want information on Pair-ElectroMagnetic pulses or Gamma-Ray bursts that may eminate from black holes, can't say that I have ever heard the term ' jet streams' used for either of these phenomenons before though. BTW these bursts are considered more deadly than a meteor impact as direct exposure would annihilate ALL known life in the solar system. Try doing a search for PEM + black holes or GRB + black holes. -
But I will anyway. You all know at least one kid that won't accept your answers without proof, questions authority figures and always asks Why even when you give an answer that they accept, well I'm that little kid's curiosity, Cubed.

Your Windows "Messenger Service" is being used as a spam portal. Go here and get an app that turns that service off. http://www.grc.com/stm/shootthemessenger.htm As for the difference between Windows and Mac OS, they are both the "illegitimate children" of the old XEROX PARC system. Read the book "Fire In The Valley" by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine for all the dirt.

Tillman killed by friendly fire Pat Tillman Billy House Republic Washington Bureau May. 29, 2004 12:00 AM WASHINGTON - Pat Tillman, the former Arizona Cardinals football player who died in April while a U.S. soldier fighting in Afghanistan, likely was killed by friendly fire, an Army investigation has concluded. News of that finding was disseminated Friday to some members of Congress and some Tillman family members just as the Memorial Day weekend was to begin, including today's dedication ceremonies in Washington of the World War II Memorial. "It does seem pretty clear that he was killed by friendly fire," said Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., a member of the House Armed Services Committee, which was alerted to the information by the Army's Legislative Liaison Office. Full article here: http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/0529tillman29.html Another great oxymoron, Friendly Fire. Ask anyone hit by it if they thought there was anything friendly about it.

Have you not seen the 'Scientifically Accurate' documentary "Reefer Madness"? Oh no, the tree-hugging, animal-saving, bong-toting Hippies are gonna take over the planet and force you to wear tie-dyed hemp. Quick everyone to the 'Patriot Cave' and put on your 'Homeland Blinders' and maybe you won't be overrun by the Ganga gangs roaming free in Potsville, USA. -
A New Theory for the Origins of Life
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to a topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
Do you mean to discuss things such as; Intelligent Design, Panspermia, E.T. Intervention, Cosmic Ancestry etc. or something totally new and not previously brought up? I personally subscribe to creationism, though I have NO religious affiliation, for men write 'Holy' books and men are not holy. I also do not believe that it is necessary for others to believe that which I believe as I also do not have to believe that which they do either. btw Welcome to the Forum. -
Is Our Universe Too Perfect to be Random?
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to blike's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
By this do you mean that our star (all the gravity it's supposed to have) already has the same gravity as say a neutron star or a pulsar? Or do you mean it has all the gravity its supposed to have like I have all the hair that I'm supposed to have? For no matter how much or how little hair I have, that is how much I am supposed to have. If a star sized mass has all the gravity it's supposed to, what exactly is creating that gravity/energy? What matter if any is being converted to energy in an unlit star-sized mass to create that gravity/energy? What is the process of this conversion in an unlit star sized mass? -

My personal view on the speed of gravity issue is that the speed of gravity is much greater than the speed of light. I believe that once a star ignites, its gravitational effect is felt immediately (unlike the 8 minutes for light to reach Earth) in the area under its influence and the field of effect is proportional to the size of the star that has ignited. Alas the only way to truly measure this you would have to be close enough to a star's ignition to measure how long before its gravitational effects were felt on any planetary bodies near it. -

Picture that you have two globe shaped magnets of the same polarity sitting in a small bowl. Due to their polarity these two magnets will start to repulse each other causing them to start rotating around the inside of the bowl. That is why our moon orbits the earth, they are two objects that have the same magnetic polarity and as such never the twain shall meet. The source of this polarity is the magnetic/gravitational field created by our star. The reason we have moons is due to the repulsive nature of magnetic fields of the same polarity, the planets push the moons away from themselves and at the same time the star is pushing the planets/moons away from itself. The planets then orbit inside the gravitational well (picture giant bowl) of the star and their moons orbit the gravitational well(small bowl) of the planets. So in essence we have a bunch of 'small bowls' created by the planets orbiting inside a 'giant bowl' created by our star. Hope this makes it a little easier to understand. -
11,000 people killed per year by other Armed citizens, WWII and beyond saw the extermination of MILLIONS of UNARMED citizens by GOVERNMENT FORCES. In 6 years, several million Jews & others of Germany were not killed by invading armies, they were slaughtered by their own gov't that had legalized the murder of 'undesirables.' Even at 11,000 killings per year it would take almost 100 years of that to equal a tiny fraction of the defenseless people who have been massacred simply because they could be. Most citizens will use firearms responsibly, as most military personel will as well, yet there is always the danger that once something has been 'outlawed' i.e. being Jewish, homosexual, intellectual etc. there are some people that will use that as excuse to commit atrocities. Gun ownership by the general population is to prevent this very thing from happening, for would you let some government thug kill (remember it is 'legal' for him to do so as he is just following orders) your neighbor, your mother or your son if you could stop them? Also keep in mind that some of those wonderful soldiers torturing Iraqis to death today will be America's policemen tomorrow. So endth the lesson.

I took that quote from this letter (pdf link) to a Governor from a Sheriff. You will find it on the second page, after which I did a search and found several hundred references to the same quote. I however neglected to verify with the good people that run http://www.weknoweverywordadolfeveruttered.com for which I am very sorry. http://www.devvy.com/pdf/SHERIFF.PDF As for the link to the jpfo, the reason should be quite obvious.

The primary reseaon to possess firemarms is to prevent tyranny from one's own government, not as protection from some shadowy foreign invader. Stop quoting the law, we have swords. - Roman General Sulla For the first time in history does a nation have complete gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient. The world will follow our lead in the future. - Adolph Hitler, 15 April 1935, in address to the Reichstag Much more information on the importance of the 2nd amendment can be found here: http://www.jpfo.org/

Time is a waste by product of movement, for without movement there would be nothing to measure. Nothing to measure would mean that nothing exists.

"Given the weaknesses of all theories of terrestrial genesis, directed panspermia [deliberate planting of life on earth] should still be considered a serious possibility." Francis H. C. Crick Taking the above statement into account, 2 facts can be established; 1)evolution, like the flat earth theory is highly improbable and 2) if evolution has weaknesses then the panspermia is even worse off, for how can you really believe evolution worked on some other unknown, unresearched planet? the 'intelligence' to seed the earth would have had to come from someplace. Talk about blind faith. You can question divinity but you cannot disprove that it exists.

Black Holes What are they?
PerpetualYnquisitive replied to KHinfcube22's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
Keeping on the subject of gravity and a great mechasnism for a future doomsday movie. Observations on singularity theory, M. McInnes, wednesday september 10, 2003 9:50 pm black holes may be the presence of pure, solid matter in the 'absence of space', this being the densest state in which matter may exist, all of the matter the singularity contains has had its space removed, the singularity is in essence a spaceless anti-star the atoms contained in observable stars, planets etc. have huge amounts of space 'trapped' in their matter, therefore anti-stars will have no space contained within them the singularity is a uniform, protonless nucleus mass, as it is unobservable, it is 'dark matter' complete, uniform inversion of the star's core magnetic field is the mechanism that facilitates the start of this process the increase in the mass of the singularity is derived by the gravitational inversion field 'squeezing the space', such as the space between an atom's nucleus and its orbiting electrons, out of all matter that encounters the event horizon this 'space free' matter is then absorbed into the singularity, thus protons, neutrons and electrons are converted into a near infinately compressed homogenous mass some of the energy from this conversion will also be captured by the gravity well, perpetuating and increasing its effects on the regions adjacent to it the removal of the space contained in matter by this gravitational inversion creates a 'super vacuum' effect upon the space around it stars normally PUSH enormous amounts of energy/matter away from themselves into space, therefore these anti-stars will PULL enormous amounts of energy/matter into themselves from space and eject empty space as the by-product therefore causing galaxies to move away from each other the space removed from the matter absorbed by the singularity is manifested back into the universe as completely empty space, thus the more numerous and more massive 'anti-stars' become, so too will the faster the expansion become when there is no longer enough matter/energy to maintain the critical mass or the inversion field is disrupted, possibly by contact with another singularity , the singularity will then collapse, this dense matter will now absorb space as it cools and expands, thus forming the basic elements, spreading matter and energy across hundreds of millions of miles creating nebulae this collapse of singularities is also the cause of the uniform background radiation, all the matter/energy/space that we can observe has already been through this process, the constant background radiation is the signature of that event the rate of energy/matter that an anti-star may 'ingest' is proportional to the mass of the singularity itself, the larger the singularity is, the faster it will absorb energy/matter into itself each star is in effect part of an intergalactic gulfstream, with each star pushing energy/matter etc into space and the anti-stars pulling energy/matter from space, creating more empty(compressed?) space the form of the solar currents will thus be shaped by the tug-of-war between stars and anti-stars using this model it is possible to predict that if our sun was to be 'instantly turned off' as if by a switch several events would immediately occur 1) the planets in our solar system would be flung out of their orbits on a trajectory into space 2) entire flash freezing of the entire earth 3) all surface 'debris' i.e. people, vehicles, loose soil, rocks (anything not anchored to the planet) would be flung off the planet's surface this also shows that the sun is responsible for creating our gravity and that the gravity that we feel on earth is not pulling us to the earth but is actually pushing us down from above dedicated to Stephen Hawking & Walter Wright, who through their different ideas about gravity lead me to delve into this subject myself. What's really gonna cook your noodle later is would you have broken it if I hadn't said anything.
