  1. I approve. Intelligent Design Intelligent Design Intelligent Design Intelligent Design Intelligent Design Intelligent Design Intelligent Design
  2. Dont forget about the Pioneer anomoly!
  3. It would be the same I believe. Anti-hydrogen is the only anti-atom that has yet been made, as far as I know it works just like hydrogen only its anti-matter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-hydrogen
  4. Not this garbage again. "The speed of the light pulse inside is C* cos alpha {alpha is angle to the mirror surface}" No, the speed of light is c. Always. "So no experiments checking the theory of relativity can be made, and never been made honestly without tricks." Yeah, I guess I'll take your word for it, instead of every physicist in the world.
  5. Visualizing 4 dimensions is a tad tricky. The bowling ball on trampoline is the only way I know how to visualize such a thing.
  6. Must... not.... flame....... Water does not combust. Whewh. That was close.
  7. ...no. Something is artificial if humans make it. The opposite of natural.
  8. Curse those unresponsive spanish!
  9. There wouldn't be any oxygen in the atmosphere.
  10. Prostitution and marijuana are legal there. Strict in some ways perhaps, but not others.
  11. It could be. Just look up at the sky, a multitude of tiny points. With a telescope you can see more, and more, and more.... We could have missed a bunch of objects that arn't on the plane of the ecliptic, there is an incredible amount of space that such objects can hide in.
  12. I dont think the oort cloud extends into intersteller space. And new planets are always interesting. This new one also can come closer the sun than pluto does at some points in it orbit. Neato.
  13. Well that doesn't lead to the invention of a time machine. This is all old hat, nothing of what you said was original. The problem remains going faster than c, which remains thouroughly impossible.
  14. I've heard of it. But no it isn't embraced widely, I dont really know much about it, or if there is any evidence to support it. I dont think you'd have to reject the notion that the universe is expanding. You would probably disagree on the age of the universe and how quickly it is expanding, but it should still come out as expanding regardless.
  15. Water has a very high heat capacity, the highest of any substance I know of, and definately the highest of a substance you'll be able to get easily.
  16. Thats a really good way to get kids to go out and defy the curfew just because its the rebellious thing to do.
  17. I must admit that my curiosity is piqued by this. Ok, one takes a magnet, and shakes it back and forth. The acceleration of the magnetic field produces a wave. Take a star and shake it back and forth, gravitational waves result, as the gravitational attraction that that star exerts on another object would vary sinosodaly. It does seem like gravitational waves, or at least the appearance of them can be predicted by Newtonian mechanics. Could somebody show me the flaw in this?
  18. Punctuation. Grammar. Please use them. Its an open question as to how time works. It is not necessarly because nobody is "smart enough", but because we do not have enough observational data to base a hypothosis on.
  19. Ok, but can't it still ionize atoms in humans? I thought anything in the UV range and up was capable of doing that, which is why UV, X-ray and gamma rays all can cause cancer. And gamma rays dont have a small mass, they have zero mass.
