  1. Do I need to register for asking experts?
  2. Why does sodium hydroxide sometimes is solid and sometimes is liquid? And why doesn't sodium mix with water instead of reacting with? Where does the energy come from for sodium to react steadily with water?
  3. Why does Einstein think that nothing is faster than light speed? I think this is the most important core of relativity, so I must have a clear concept. Hope for your helps
  4. oh maybe I know Water molecule just seperate NaCl but never attract the chloride or the sodium ion becoming a part of itself, right?
  5. How does hydrogen ion gain an electron during electrolysis(when NaCl in water)? Is that the electron is from chloride ion and passing through the carbon electrode and combine with hydrogen ion?
  6. Why do ball pens stop working after dropping onto the ground? I just want to ask for some advice in order to repair mine
  7. What does nothing mean? And does NH4OH still have a melting point of 100 degree Celsius? Thank you
  8. Ionic compound such as sodium chloride is decomposed when it's put in water, then water molecule "take"one chloride or sodium left. At this moment, I think the formula is NaH2O or H2OCl, and its properties is changed, am I correct? And why doesn't calcium carbonate act like ammonia which is soluble in water? Buddies Help me
  9. So if I answered they have wings , correct?
  10. How about does snail have legs? Does foot=legs?
  11. I am not sure about this
  12. 1.If a photo is 1280X800, how to enlarge without any colour damaged? 2.How to download a video which involve a link of window media or real player?
  13. Does beetle have shell and wingS?
  14. which element is the most reactive? And does there any element that francium mix with would give a more reactive rate than with fluorine?
  15. ] Thanks. I see. Covalent compound are not completely dissolve in water.
  16. Is it right that only ionic crystal (ionic compound) can dissolve in water? And I know carbon dioxide (or ethanol)is molecule and is soluble in water, how does it work? Would anyone give me some information about it ( better a diagram of dissolving of CO2 into water ) And such as iron(II) ion and sulphate ion, sometimes they mix instead of reacting(not saturated), WHY???? Hope you help !
  17. Is that true, in the same group, their oxidization ion (polyatomic ion) have the same valence like nitrate - and arsenate -?
  18. I think there is a small change in the rate of respiration, so when scientist plot graph, they omit the change.
  19. How does the hydrogencarbonate indicator (HCO3-)give out carbon dioxide?
  20. I have a question, anyone help? How does the hydroxide ion combine with carbon dioxide molecule? Does the oxygen atoms combine with other oxygen atoms?
  21. anyone help me ?
