  1. As far as I'm aware, this is an issue between blike, fafalone and Sayonara. blike will post something more on it if and when he feels it necessary to do so (although I would personally recommend something is said on the issue ).
  2. It does have to be said that maths at uni is a lot different to maths at A-level though.

  4. Apparently it's something to do with the fact that I forgot to delete my extensions and didn't perform a clean install, but I've tried that and it still doesn't want to know.

    Me too :\
  6. Adam's probably died of ignorance Good old spin gravity
  7. We need another comedy legend like Zarkov or Adam.
  8. It's the only thing I can think of atm. Besides a mod going and deleting a load of random posts which I know hasn't happened.
  9. Find some random topic of discussion and just post it. I'm sure that most people will want a debate with you
  10. If they rolled back the db by accident and you posted in the time between them rolling back and correcting the issue by going to the most recent rollback, then any posts you made in that interim period would disappear.
  11. Propose something in the debate forum?
  12. That's fair enough, feedback's completely optional anyway.
  13. I think the only difference is that Firefox is a standalone web browser. Mozilla integrates Navigator, Mail, Address Books, Chatzilla, etc...
  14. Firefox > all With possibly the exception of Mozilla

    Grand, cheers.
  16. It's just not proper
  17. It's unlikely that if it was a server issue it only affected you. As I've said before, my best guess would be the hosting guys messing around with the database and accidentally rolling back to a backup or something.
  18. I hadn't actually noticed the Collapsable Items option, which just made it a lot better
  19. While we're on the topic of Mozilla and whatnot, I've just gone and got myself a copy of 1.7. However, there is a rather large problem (for me) with the themes. I'll select a very nice theme, and it'll be all hunkydory until I restart Mozilla. At this point it defaults back to the Classic theme - which, needless to say, is rather annoying. Does anyone have a solution for this?
  20. Just click on the "Get Plugins" link on mozilla.org.

Yeah, I'd quite like to see what it's like. I don't really mind the ad thing because if I wanted to send something sensitive, GPG comes to the rescue.
  22. It's more likely they'll find it via a search engine like google, word of mouth or external linkage rather than just guess the address. Plus something like http://www.sciencefictionforums.net is far too long.
  23. I use it to block the banner on here and the iFrame ad. *ducks*
  24. Make sure to get some of the plugins; some are very useful. I recommend the one for proper smooth scrolling of webpages.
  25. Why not just subdomain SFN (i.e. scifi.scienceforums.net)?
