  1. What's the death rate got to do with anything?
  2. A: I use an electric razor, so probably about 95 Q: Favourite website?
  3. That's a bit of a brash generalization; you've never met these people and you don't know their circumstances either. Why would the US have more chances of screwing things up?
  4. I think that was more of a joke than anything else.
  5. For those in the UK, did you watch Panorama last night? I thought it was a very interesting insight into what would happen in a real terrorist attack in London. However, I did spot this on BBC News' website saying that it received complaints saying the program was 'too realisic'. Now call me stupid but isn't this the entire point of the programme? (It didn't contain any graphic scenes btw)
  6. True; hence I didn't say "don't do it". However, from a work point of view, it requires a lot of effort to get working so expect to spend quite some time doing it
  7. What's this got to do with anything?
  8. Agreed. I believed that I originally wanted to do Engineering, and I wasted a lot of my time doing various things to that end. Also, don't put down a secondary university on your UCAS (if you live in the UK) unless you honestly want to go there - I made that mistake as well
  9. I'm sure you meant for the Q and A to be the other way around there. A: Watermelon - much nicer. Q: Do you have a manual or electric toothbrush?
  10. Surely you get those sort of people in most countries around the world?
  11. That's not so bad then, but it's still a pretty challenging project.
  12. Why not all three?
  13. A: Walk. Q: Do you believe that mobile phones are a plague to the youth of the country?
  14. A: Milky way. Q: Paracetemol or Aspirin?
  15. rofl <clickety clickety> (most people won't get this unless you've read bofh).
  16. Here we go again...
  17. Bear in mind that if you make this for a physics class, you don't want to use lethal voltages/currents, and you don't want to be firing anything at extremely high velocities - they'll penetrate most things, like walls and more importantly, people. On the other hand, it's pretty easy to get hold of things like large capacitors (maplin are flogging a 1 Farad capacitor on their site for about £30) and things like that. Good luck
  18. Just out of curiosity, why would you want to use dos as an OS?
  19. Probably because the areas of coverage are organized into cells.
  20. Well, you suggested it after all.
  21. What's the monthly subscription on one of those then?
  22. Not really worth it tbh, it's a bit of an outdated OS.
  23. Yeah, that's practical
