Unfortunately I don't have the time yet. Too busy with exams and revision and stuff, but I did gloss over them and they seemed to be approachable with some work, so I'll probably do some work on it in the holidays after the exams.

Since nobody else has started this and it's almost Easter Sunday, I thought I would. Who's got easter eggs then?

It's just something that we tend to do for some reason. I'm sure I'll start talking to my parents more when I'm older, same for your kids.

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent math typesetting programs? I'm getting quite annoyed with MS Word and Equation Editor.

Oops, I'm a bit late posting the solutions, but I only remembered at 7 and had to write the solution up. I'm sorry to say that we didn't have any correct entries for either question, with the exception of faf who answered both problems but didn't provide any proof I'm going to post a solution to the first question now, and the second question a bit later (since the proof is rather long and I don't have a copy of it yet that I can copy, I'll have to work through it again). Question 1 Calculate the exact value of cos(72), and hence find the value of cos(36)-cos(72). Perhaps this was a little misleading. My solution is outlined in the zip'd file which contains a Microsoft Word document with the images in. I should be posting more problems tomorrow night. That's a big PSU Does make sense if you've got a lot of PCs and you don't want to install the power points, but I'd probably just put the power points in tbh. Wouldn't fancy rigging that thing up.
