  1. I do like Science magazine's website to catch up on the latest stuff: luckily my uni has a campus license so I can access it whenever.

    for Encrypted

Might not be a bad idea. If it were longer it'd subject itself to things like letter distribution, but since I haven't got that it's a bit of a slog tbh.
  3. Are you actually listening to what anyone here is saying? Kerry went to Vietnam to serve his country, got shot at and all, and purple heart or not, that commands respect! I was going to say that I can't believe you'd be hung up on such a stupidly trivial issue, but of course this is what Bush is counting on. I liked how you quoted yourself - it reminds me of someone running around screaming "I can't hear you!!" whilst covering their ears.
  4. [math]A=\pi r^2[/math]
  5. That's not cross sectional area. I apologise, I should've used V= instead of A= for that formula [math]A = \pi r^2[/math] [math]V = \pi r^2 h[/math].
  6. Use [math] tags.
  7. Nope. You have: [math]V = \pi r^2 h[/math], since r2 is measured in cm2 and h in cm, you have cm3, which is a volume.
  8. Each to his own. I have to say I quite like them, although they can get a bit bogged down at points.
  9. (Just to add: it does scan your e-mails and filter out words for ads, that's the catch) Edit: just noticed someone else already posted this. My own experience has been pleasent, but all my invites expired so can't add anyone else. Sorry
  10. That was rather spectacular. God knows what would've happened if it'd been loaded though.
  11. In more depth, f is a function which takes a variable (or perhaps more than one variable in some cases), and by performing an operation on it converts it to some other number.

    shape of "0"

The decimal number system was invented by Arabic mathematicians, which probably explains this.
  13. Not having any problems like that.
  14. Why not give all your computers a static ip address? It's the easiest way around the problem as far as I can see.

    Grads

I believed they're used a lot in Engineering. They were developed by the French during their attempts to make everything metric (right angle = 100 rads)
  16. Well, it measures those changes, but it can't measure anxiety directly - people can be anxious as hell and still not exhibit those signs (i.e. intelligence spooks, special ops, etc).
  17. Tried dumping your cache?
  18. That's not really true. Trojans disguise themselves as other programs and may provide some functionality to let the user think they've got a legitimate program when really it's something else in disguise. They also don't replicate like viruses do. Check here for more information.
  19. 3D Studio Max wasn't released for Mac. I think the closest you're likely to get is Cinema 4D.
  20. Wow, this is a blast from the past. The file works fine for me.
  21. If you have any questions at all, just ask them. There's a plethora of people around who can answer them now.
  22. And you're saying Fox News isn't at all biased to the right? Heh.

    Fixing Iraq

How long do you think it'll take to infiltrate these cells? They've been trying to for years without any major success.
