  1. perhaps im not putting the point across properly or your misreading my statement.I know a paradox is non-resolvable.what im trying to say if time-travel were possible in the sense of the grandfather paradox, and you were able to travel back to the event.By your very existence you could not kill your grandfather.Your alive now so from your grandfathers perspective someone already tried to kill him(you in your ellese shell suit) but he thwarted the attempt, and lived so allowing your existance. But this throws up the loop effect and thats another conversation. Anyway if time travel were possible, and science is proving this could be a probability it will not be in the way we are discussing.
  2. ok but a little bit of a cop out. so what about magnetism.eg hold two hand size magnets with opposite poles that repel each other and push them together.as the law of cons/energy is proven correct you expend all your energy and tire.however the magnets maintain their force with no energy expended and do so for infinite time...no source. As you know perpetual motion cannot be probable because of the law of cons/energy. or are you agreeing that obviously whatever drives gravity the same as magnetism is unknown so we cannot imply that or show that or measure correctly its speed in relation to light...and wouldnt it be on the bases of my earlier explanation of abberation safe to assume that what we know so far gravity appears to act FTL.would this be a fairer statement
  3. the grandfather paradox is not a paradox anymore.because you exist in the first place, and have got in your time machine. The answer is when your grandfather was younger some idiot dressed funny attacked him but he thwarted the assasination attempt, thus your father was born and you also..
  4. no it breaks the law of conservation of energy. It has no source.if you need me to give more read both Newton & Einstein they are just as flumexed.
  5. yes i do if you accept the barrier( its difficult to fingd the correct words)but this would in my opinion make the universe finite without saying whats outside of that, and that etc.
  6. Or say hyperthetically you set off in your space ship in a given direction eventually you would return back to your start point.Maybe thats why time and space are curved.
  7. The void isnt enveloping the universe like a nice jacket, its devoid of all matter, immeasurable. Its a barrier it doesnt exist as a thick empty part of space.By its very definition it doesnt exist.Try looking at it from a different perspective the universe continually turning in on itself with nothing further to expand into.
  8. My post you refer to has been pulled.I cannot find the thread.I tried to elaborate and when it seems i made factual points the admin pulled the topic. You see because the other uses in this forum cannot now view my post it must have made arguments that were correct and admin couldnt stomach that the other physics academics would see they were talking the shite not me.....as for the above you mention gravity waves, what gravity waves are you referring to,nobody has proved their existance,or that their waves???.You cannot offer your above explanation of my post, your denying the facts i put forward.I do not wish to argue with you only debate,But if you want to hide from the fact the instantanious position of a body is important. If gravity waves do exist they must be continuous therefore my arguement must mean gravity is faster
  9. I refer the right honourable gentlemen to a post i made further up.I do not mind your sarcasm but its not that difficult to get Ste to email you i could give you a ref if you wish
  10. you forgot to mention the weight of the insect, which is also a factor.in order to counter the effects of gravity a large bodied insect is improbable
  11. time travel is not possible....not in which you can interract yourself...if you were not there in the first place you cannot visit....time does not exist as linear....its already happened
  12. instantly......ive been bumping my gums all week about FTL....but that isnt the most mysterious thing about gravity
  13. shame the latest mammoth turned out to be mush,it looked like it was gonna be cool with those tusks sticking out the ice block...sad really
  14. I liked your post it proves someone can actually make a good case for the hogwash of quantom physics.Sometimes it is the most simple of people who post their thoughts however incorrect the reasoning and blow huge holes in theories that simply are too stupid to be believed.Quantom physics really gets up my nose paradox after paradox,i do wish at times that good people would spend less time on ruining the science of physics.Everything is finite, schroeders cat was dead in the box. When the tree falls sound waves are created regardless of anyone being around to hear it.Just because we cannot understand things dont spoil the science by evolving it into gibberish.Even Einstein said this is crap.
  15. Yes a void,if only peeps can grasp just what the meaning of a void actually is,they would understand.I dont claim to be all knowing unlike some people here, but along with my bad grammer and punctuation i do get it.Neither do i claim my opinion is originally my own, believe it or not S.Hawking does reply to emails. He has sent me a few and although some point out errors in reasoning, none have been to pick me up on grammer. And just to add for the next flammers of my post.Hawking isnt my friend if i need to prove his correspondance to me is genuine i will take great delight in ramming it up their noses
  16. Unfortunately i agree with a poster further up cockroaches are the prime candidate as this species eats anything........even each other alive or dead.. If you consider an impact event would blot out the sun and all plant life was dead after only a short period of time.Cockroaches would evolve into the next super species...as for growing larger or looking more human with its own developed intelligence, this wont happen its an insect with millions of years of evolution behind it,if was going to become as intelligent as us it would have already done it. just a thought though,if an ant colony survived boy would they rule.Poor cockroaches would be the cows in the fields getting milked..
  17. edited out im wrong.
  18. well said sayonara and jakiri.also god does not play dice is the most profound statement a man of Einsteins massive contribution to physics could say.I wish more people understood its meaning, sadly they only see the words and drift off into the quantom cesspool
  19. nonsense of course there is space were no matter or time exists and is truelly devoid of existance of anything.VIRTUAL PARTICLES my ass.stop thinking laterally, quantom physics is hogwash....
  20. Nice ideas but your losing focus, the common sense approach should always aid the limits of our brain power. Not everyone is grasping just what a void means? The universe cannot be infinite(the law of conservation of energy)to expand further than its maximum it would require an energy source,Seeing how it is accepted that some form of bigbang started the expansion, when all the energy is converted the end yes(like your car using its petrol tank up). Now what is outside the universe is the void, which is empty of all matter, nothing exists there,no time to measure its thickness because no matter is present nor ever will be...it does not exist(most of you can grasp the briefest feeling of not existing, when you have undergone general anesthetic,5.4.3.2.1 you slip into blackness, when you wake you cannot remember how long you,ve been out,no thoughts while you,ve been under, all you can remember is the flick into blackness...you only remember this feeling because your awake now,if you never woke you,d be dead cease to exist yes...) I realise to comprehend nothingness is difficult, our brains are simply are not built to accept it.So i will offer a poor model i know, to show you. Take two balloons, one red the other blue. The blue one represents the void, the red one our universe(the matter will be our breath). Now with both balloons deflated place the red balloon inside the blue one and blow it up.you will notice that our universe the red balloon expand, and by now realise that no amount of breath(matter)will ever expand into the void(our blue balloon)...please dont retort the blue balloon being stretched to accomadate our red universe, remember the void has no thickness or existance no matter occupies it. I do realise its a poor model but it offers an easily understood explanation.
  21. mmm Old Chinese Proverb says no such thing, your just making that up Severian because ive read them all....anyway ive sent you a pm....."nasty fat little hobbit..eez always watchin us"
  22. hi guys this is my favourite topic,my own beliefs are this.....im sure im on the right path...the universe was created....they was no big bang....how can something explode into nothingness...are you with me...no space no soundwaves,no oxygen to burn....are you still understanding this...ok if you are when all matter ceases to take up space at its fringe....(without matter time cannot exist)then what is left over is a void...now dont think the void is just one continuous white light...its not its blacknesslike death end of chat.. ..everything is circular in our universe...our universe is like the inside of a balloon...the void is the skin but unlike the balloon skin it has no thickness....because there is no matter their to calculate yes....therefore it solves the paradox of whats outside the box...now who created this universe well thats easy God.... now whats really gonna freak you is matrixy "there is no universe.".....
  23. Silly really travel faster than light is impossible........didnt you learn anything at all at school.....And dont post idiotic quotes Einstein was wrong...your not qualified in anywere near his capasitie
