  1. Firstly thanks for the replies. I didn't have keyhole surgery it was just the straight forward open approach, The surgeon said that would be the best option for me and that the healing time would be around 3 to 6 months. As far as the pain goes my forearms ache its like they're fatigued from a hard work out, but thats when I've only done very little with my hands and my hands feel like they've been pulled off and put back on again (weird). But after a little hard work or work that involves awkward hand movements my hands and forearms really hurt . If I keep busy during the day I don't seem to pay too much attention to the aches but the moment I try to relax or sleep the pain drives me up the wall. I have had two nerve conduction studies after the surgery and both showed improvement from before the surgery. I don't really know what else to write, but any advice or useful knowledge is appreciated. CHEERS.
  2. Hello people about 18 months ago I had carpel tunnel surgery on both my hands and since then the typical pins and needles symptoms have gone but now I suffer constant pain in my forearms and hands I'm an active person and if I do a normal hard days work (or even a couples of hours) the pain or discomfort drives me crazy. Does anyone know why this might be ? My doctor has no idea. Or even I anyone has heard of this type of thing I'd interested to hear that I'm not a one off, I'm not a nutter well not yet anyway ha ha. ;)
