I'm not sure if I follow here but the structure of any mineral expresses some things like: type of the bond, the angel of bonding, hardness of the substance, single double of triple bond (in the case of covalent bonds), why is an allotrope (in the case of allotropic modification) etc. Then judging by the structure you can why some substances are conductive and some other not, why are they stable or not stable, understand the features and a lot more! If this doesn't apply to your question, just ignore it! Cheers!

Absolutely! I don't anyone here would disallow that! Enjoy the pics:D! edit: insulin structure: diamond structure:

I'm not a physics expert, but I believe judging by the adjective "dark" we don't exactly know what kind of matter that is. What are its main characteristics? How would it behave in an earth-like conditions? Would it disobey the current known laws of physics, or it behaves in such way that we not yet know? Would the laws of TD apply to it? I know that this is not the subject of the thread, but what I'm trying to say is that it is on human nature to always want to know more. Questions like your question in the beginning, and my questions in this post are a result of a deeper thinking and a scientific sense. There is always a wish to know more than current knowledge. Even though we want to know more and more, we can only give answers depending on what we currently know, and by this point of view, the answer to your question in the beginning would be that it is hard to imagine matter without energy! (I know this is not what you exactly meant). I am saying hard to imagine with the purpose of leaving space for some doubt. We are all witnesses of how fast science has developed through this last century, and maybe a year from now scientists might come up with something like "energyless matter" and what would I say then? I know what you are trying to say, and I agree! We should raise big questions if we want to come up with big answers! Cheers!

It is because of density! Swans above has given the equation why it is that way!

Why don't you save time to the OP and tell him the answer? Besides, who knows which is your favorite episode:rolleyes:

It is indeed addictive. I always start the program with the intention of only spending about 10 minutes in it, and always end up way way longer!

Yes yes, you got a point. But my post refers to what we know so far. We can't really predict what will we discover in the future, so we're talking by 'nowdays' science.

Does this make any difference?

Oh Tom, that is just a fancy way of saying "it's hard to happen"!

Anyway to change your username?

Reaper, OMG, that's even worse then you're present UN:doh: -
Hey papa, welcome to the forum. It's good to heard you like math. I am kinda math-addicted too, trigonometry-addicted actually. It's hell of a interesting and fascinating field man. I strongly believe that there is nothing as perfect and beautiful as math (although i_a thinks it's an evil:P) Cheers!

Well basically no! Energy is a characteristic of matter. AFAIK and I'm quite sure that there cannot be matter without energy. And also there is no good reason that energy might disobey laws of TD. Everything in our physical world must obey to the laws of physics.

If the current in both conductors has the same direction, then there is attractive force between them, is the direction is opposite then there is repulsion between them. From Amperes force you can derive the force acting between the conductors which is [math]2\times 10^{-7}N[/math] Cancel each other out? They're not in direct contact with each other, only close to!

It depends of what Jolly Rancher product are you talking about. And I don't think it can be considered 100% sugar though! There are sugar free jolly ranchers too!

Oh, so someone has flown fly like a raven. How so???

I think what you mean is there aren't five kinds of receptors! -
You mean, can something exist without energy and disobeying the laws of thermodynamics?

It's moo's video, a good video indeed. I did that myself too. It worked fine to me, of course with some error (round 7.6%)!

Or another formula: as: [math]A=UIt[/math] and [math]P=\frac{A}{t}[/math] then just put A in and you get [math]P=\frac{A}{t}[/math] [math]P=\frac{UIt}{t}[/math] and finally: [math]P=UI[/math]

No, but it seems that people here don't really like you!

You would probably train your muscles like CP said, but surely not flying. Our organisms characteristics do not make that possible (lack or air-filled spaces in bones).

I believe Tom gave a good enough reason. 2.5kW (2500W) is quiet greater than 60W, no matter what the voltage on the socket is. The voltage from the socket is transformed (decreased) until it's enough for the equipment to operate! What about phone batteries? They have a voltage of 4.5V and are connected to a socket of 220V. Wouldn't this greater voltage burn the adapter that charged the phone? It doesn't because it reduces the voltage down to a point when it is enough to operate! identical with:[math]P=UI[/math] and the units work out because [math]P(=)UI=\frac{J}{C}\times \frac{C}{s}=\frac{J}{s}=W[/math]

Yup! I wrote that on purpose to tell the OP that anything with rest mass cannot be sent, reach or move at the speed of light. As for the reason why, this forum is overloaded by that sentence!

It may sound a little philosophical, but all what maters is the truth. The person who says the truth is only needed to give credit to!

I wish! I tried once to make him come at my house, make him watch some science videos and stuff life that, and realize that the bullshit he's in is worth nothing, but you know that he said to me: "I don't want to become a nerd like you!" Speechless!!!
