  1. I intended so! Thanks in advice:D!
  2. What:eek: ? Then how could we (3D objects) exist in a 2D space?
  3. First, universe has no limits. In its very basic sense, it is infinite. And universe is predicted to expand forever. Some time ago I heard that dark matter could serve as a glue between galaxies and that at some point it could bring them all together, but there just seems not to be enough. So what's left to say it that universe is expanding, and as far as we know, it will expand forever!
  4. I found it interesting because when I'd read Kaku's Visions, he said we were possibly gonna die on fire (we = earth), but after reading this script today it said we were gonna die in cold (a.k.a. Cold Death). So I wondered if we were gonna die in fire or ice? But we're gonna die anyway, so why bother! Thnx for reply
  5. I was thinking of going into C++, but after I saw the tutorial, it was damn complicated. I guess I'll turn to Basic! I was told here that Python would a good program to start with, and it was so. I've learned quite a few stuffs with it. Thanks SFN!
  6. There is just one more things swansont. Today I was reading a script my Richard Muller called "Atoms and Heat" (part of a physics course), and it was there where I read that the average temperature of universe is -270 C, but it also was said that due to expansion of the universe, this average is expected to decrease further. So is there any possibility that absolute zero could be reached in a "natural way"? Cheers, Shade
  7. but not as cold as 0K definitely
  8. I don't really think absolute zero will ever be reached! There must something colder than that so you can create the temperature balance. I still have not heard of something as cold as or colder than 0K. Even the average temperature of the universe is not that cold (average +3.15 K)
  9. I'd go with i_a here. You may have heard that time is the fourth dimension, and it is. To define a location you need three number, x, y and z. This is why we say locations are defined by a three dimensional number. But when it comes to event, there is another factor: TIME. So events are defined by a four dimensional factor number (x y z and time). That all the fancy stuff about time being the fourth dimension.
  10. Gee, cool Cap'n . thnx:D
  11. The stuff I said I'd heard about aging related to cancer. Read my first post man.
  12. Thanks for replying to my question lucapsa, I appreciate it! And iNow: "It's better to post in an existing thread than start a new one" - you ever heard this?. What I posted was related to the subject of this thread, and opening a new thread would be absolutely unnecessary!
  13. It seems a long thing to go over it (and I'm neither interested on the subject), but I've heard that our aging and our death is to prevent cancer. When I heard this I found it ridiculous and still do, but I've heard it far too often to be ridiculous. Then what about people who already have cancer? Is there any truth in it?
  14. But if he drinks too much water, that's because he has lost in once a considerable amount and need to compensate so the level of water can remain constant. The salt level may also influence!
  15. Ah, so it's cooling. kk
  16. That's my second. Sorry:doh:
  17. In the place where the first atomic bomb was tested, the level of radioactivity is 10 times greater than normal. In world there are many ways that lead to radioactive decay, so believing that radioactivity in that area came from the atomic test would be illogical? C'mon man, face the facts. We might not completely know how the universe was created exactly, but we know enough to conclude that there was a beginning, the Big Bang!
  18. I was thinking of heating the solution, because NaCl dissolves weakly in hot, so it would remain as a precipitate!
  19. :D you just made me laugh! This should be made at Introduce thread.

    Oh Dear!

Also the one about Al-Qeada when the guy said "Everyone knows!" :D:D:D:D

    Oh Dear!

It's freaky hilarious! Cool post YT! Hi5 for America's Educational System!
  22. Hi5 for swansont:cool:!
  23. What do you mean by it didn't happen? Like the whole theory is wrong? Wow, you're messing with the Bigs by saying that man. What about the radiation? It was predicted and discovered Doesn't that show that Big Bang happen? Then the expansion of the universe. Everyone knows nowdays that universe is expanding. Now reverse the expansion of the universe and what you get? A single point, just a single point. And that's Big Bang my friend. Not orbiting, moving away! Not knowing about something doesn't mean it does not exist. Centuries ago nobody knew about electrons, protons, neutron, neutrinos, photons etc, but does that mean they don't exist? You got proof about that? Does anyone?
  24. Yes, g=gravity. And about t you can easily derive from the equation: [math]D=\frac{1}{2}gt^2[/math] /multiply with 2 and you get: [math]2D=gt^2[/math] /divide with g [math]\frac{2D}{g}=t^2[/math] /put the square of the other side and finally: [math]t=\sqrt{\frac{2D}{g}}[/math] Check the unit, it's s, it fits.\ Cheers, Shade
  25. Well, I don't know much in the subject but the most common symptoms are: 1.Frequent urination 2.Extreme hunger 3.Unusual weight loss 4.Blurry vision 5.Excessive thirst 6.Increased fatigue etc. I really hope you don't have these symptoms. Cheers, Shade EDIT: and make you you do this test.
