Yes, they complete their electronic configuration, becoming stable.
-
To reach stability. Lowest level means stability.

I just said that! And instincts are 1/200000000000 of what we learn in life, so tabula rasa stands!
-
We have only few things, like instincts, and that's normal, even animals have those. I was referring to mental abilities.
-
"Tabula rasa", whose best deputy was John Locke ,says that when humans are born, they're just like a empty book, and during the life (empirism) that book is gradually filled. By saying that tabula rasa went out of the window you're saying that that book is filled before we're born. Jean-Paul Sartre would call this madness because what you're saying is essence foregos existence, and in philosophy that is wrong my friend!
-
ok, sorry then, I just had no time to look at all the posts!
-
In a way, you're right. In philosophy this can otherwise be said "existence foregos essence". That means humans become the way they work things out, as when humans are born they are "tabula rasa".

Yes, me too. Long time ago space (well they said matter) was thought to be continuous, but nowdays physics tells about it's discrete feature!

You can find that out by using first cosmic velocity formula [math]v=\sqrt{gR}[/math]

It's freaky funny man! This just GOT TO BE a joke! I mean, how is possible this to be true? Isn't that as far as naivety can go? GOD!!!!!!!!!

We'll generally yeah. I mean, it depends from where we look it from. If we seek the purpose of life from a scientific point of view, then life's purpose is to reproduce, so life can go on! But from a human point of view, yeah, PLEASURE is our holly grail!

Hi guys! Reactivity and ionization energy are in a way the opposite from each other. I mean, with the increase of the ionization energy, reactivity drops. That's why inert gases have very very low reactivity, because of their high ionization energy. But when learning at school for Group 17 elements there is a paragraph that states: "Reactivity in this group decreases starting from F to I." Ionization energy decreases when going down groups, and normally reactivity should increase. But according to that previous quote reactivity decreases with the decrease in ionization energy:eek:  . Now how right is that?

I said matter and energy are the same thing based on this: [math]E=mc^2[/math] because when an object that has mass reaches the speed of light (just making assumptions!), its mass is completely converted into energy, as is gives the maximum energy containing in its mass. And: [math]a=\frac{v}{t}[/math] Zero veloctiy means zero acceleration!

I think that's because they're on the outer layers of atmosphere (because of their weight), like tritium.

Well you literally have nothing left. Matter cannot exist without movement, and there is no movement without matter. But this movement to happen you need energy, so matter and energy are basically the same thing. So if you take out matter, you neither have energy!

Result of living on light and heavier planets?

Yeah, I agree with you, but having more oxygen is not always a good thing. Having more oxygen increases the rate of oxidation process, and that would be a serious problem for our internal organs, because high oxygen concentration would cause their dissolution. Oxygen (in air) has very strong oxidative features, but high concentration of nitrogen (N) is a factor that "reduces" this feature. And if it weren't for nitrogen, our internal organs would dissolve because of oxygen's high oxidative features. -
There is something called "Conservation of Matter" which states that the amount of matter is always constant. Nothing can escape from earth (except space rockets) because nothing has natural velocity able to escape earth's gravitational field.

Particle speed determines the heat of a system, because heat is actually due to kinetic energy (energy of movement). When particles have greater kinetic energy, they move with higher velocities so the probability that particles will hit each other is bigger. And when particles hit each other, heat is produced, so higher particle speed = greater heat.

Throwing dice when already know the way it will fall, is not playing dice. God does not play dice, we do!
-
Quantum theory teaches us that uncertainty and possibilities are the rulers of the world. But personally I believe that there is something beyond this, that we can't understand, just like YT said. "God doesn't throw dice" A.Einstein - i truly believe on that

So you can that's it? That's the solution?
