  1. 'Alternate Realities' - other universes ,where exact copies of you, me and all exists with maybe slight variations. Sorry I couldn't post the video, he explains it there
  2. He doesn't say it is testable. he simply postulates it exists based on what he presents as evidence
  3. Ok,it is difficult to summarize without video, but it starts with: 1 .Double slit experiment 2. Unexplained artifacts 3.Repeating universes 4.Supernatural activity(meaning, ghosts may be beings from another universes) 5.4th Dimension 6.Large Hadron Collider 7.Dreams(claiming that we visit parallel universes in dreams) 8.The visitor from Taured 9.Lerina Garcia Gordo( woman who claimed to be from another universe) 10.Alter Vu and Mandella Effect
  4. Hello all, Surfing Youtube I found this video, and would like your opinions folks. Please, watch it and let me know what you think. I used to be skeptical about such evidence, here are both scientific and mystical ones. What do you think? Is is real evidence or every part of it can be called into the question? Doe it prove anything? video removed
  5. Hello All, I found this article: Is our universe merely one of billions? Evidence of the existence of 'multiverse' revealed for the first time by cosmic map | Daily Mail Online "Laura Mersini-Houghton, theoretical physicist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Richard Holman, professor at Carnegie Mellon University, predicted that anomalies in radiation existed and were caused by the pull from other universes in 2005. Now that she has studied the Planck data, Dr Mersini-Houghton believes her hypothesis has been proven. Her findings imply there could be an infinite number of universes outside of our own. She said: 'These anomalies were caused by other universes pulling on our universe as it formed during the Big Bang. 'They are the first hard evidence for the existence of other universes that we have seen.' What do You guys think?
  6. Thanks for the responses.I tried to discuss it on the most prestige forum - physics forum, but it was removed shortly after it was published. The reason - the website I was referring to is known as promoting pseudoscience...
  7. Hello All, Recently I've read this article about quantum physics and the multiplicity of mind: split-brains,fragmented minds, dissociation, quantum consciousness : http://journalofcosmology.com/QuantumConsciousness102.html Here are few outlines: Preface: " Quantum physics and Einstein's theory of relativity make assumptions about the nature of the mind which is assumed to be a singularity. In the Copenhagen model of physics, the process of observing is believed to effect reality by the act of perception and knowing which creates abstractions and a collapse function thereby inducing discontinuity into the continuum of the quantum state. This gives rise to the uncertainty principle. Yet neither the mind or the brain is a singularity, but a multiplicity which include two dominant streams of consciousness and awareness associated with the left and right hemisphere, as demonstrated by patients whose brains have been split, and which are superimposed on yet other mental realms maintained by the brainstem, thalamus, limbic system, and the occipital, temporal, parietal, and frontal lobes. Like the quantum state, each of these minds may also become discontinuous from each other and each mental realm may perceive their own reality." "Like the Copenhagen school, Von Neumann's formulation of quantum mechanics (1932, 1937), fails to recognize or understand the multiple nature of mind and reality." What do You guys think?Does that mean that Copenhagen is disproved by that simple observation?Or it is speculation?
  8. I personally have no links to such stories,it is the first time I hear about them from the article quoted in my OP. Perhaps searching by Internet I can find them,if they are well documented, but I am not sure if it is worth the time
  9. But guys, what about this:
  10. Hello All, Recently I came across the writings of Paul Eno, famous paranormal researcher, about his experience of how shamans can bring "dead" from another worlds. Here is the link: http://www.newenglandghosts.com/articles/backfromthedead.html And here is the article: "Nearly four decades of "in the trenches" research has led me far away from the two-dimensional, 19th century vision that most people cling to when it comes to the paranormal. For example, I don't believe that ghosts are spirits of the dead. I don't believe in death at all. When I deal with the paranormal, and ghosts in particular, I experience a vast "multiverse" in which we (bodies and all) function on multiple levels in multiple, parallel lives. In my experience, ghosts are living beings functioning in close parallel worlds that are just as physical as ours. People who are "dead" here are still living and breathing "there." That's true even if "there" is a different time, a different place or a different way of life. This begs the question: If we can see, hear, touch, taste or feel across these "world boundaries" during paranormal experiences, can we reach in, literally grab our "departed" loved ones, and bring them back to our own conscious world? What do you guys think of the above? Is it something serious?
  11. Hello All, This is quote from Wikipedia entry if Many Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics Quote: So,we live in false vacuum and is indication of many worlds? Any thoughts?
  12. In the link You provided there is another thing in favor of MWI,although it sounds like speculation :
  13. Maybe You have to read the interview with Lev Vaidman that I posted in OP?
  14. I am not physicist, so I really don't know .Therefore I'm here to posit the question. These experiments are by no means are recent - they were made by 1990s.I communicated directly to few physicists who performed them - so far no response. But one prominent physicist told me that:
  15. This one :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elitzur%E2%80%93Vaidman_bomb_tester
  16. I'll try: From interview: Question: "Relating directly to MWI, are these experiments getting information from a parallel universe?" Prof. Vaidman: Well, in a sense, yes. Because in a parallel universe there was an explosion. Or in a parallel world--there is only one universe. In the MWI there is one physical universe and many worlds which look like ours. There are many different stories. In one story, there is an explosion. In another, there is no explosion. So, in a sense, with interaction-free measurement, in one world we get information about the bomb which exploded in another one. So, in some sense, it's close to what you are saying.
  17. Hello All, Here and there is talk that many worlds/multiverse cannot be tested. But what about Elitzur-Vaidman bomb test in 1990s? Hasn't it demonstrated validity of this interpretation? Please, read this interview with Lev Vadiman, one of the prominent advocates of MWI,where he talks that in this experiment communication between universes took place: http://joehubris.com/node/78 - and let me know what you think.
  18. Hello All, Lately I've reading a lot about many worlds, multiverse and immortality. One peace was the latest work of philosopher David Lewis,"How many lives has Schroedinger Cat?".He states "if there is no collapse, then you will not die,you will go on forever" .http://www.artsrn.ualberta.ca/pex/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/lewis.pdf Any thoughts? David Lewis is considered to be one of the most prominent philosophers of the 20th century. But maybe it is just theory or speculation abyway?...I became really depressed after reading it
  19. Hello All, Recently I came across F.Tipler' paper(who is famous MWI supporter) arguing that non locality can be used as the evidence for the multiverse. Here is the abstract: "I show that observations of quantum nonlocaltiy can be interpreted as purely local phenomena, provided one assumes that the cosmos is a multiverse. Conversely, the observation of quantum nonlocality can be interpreted as observation evidence for a multiverse cosmology, just as observation of the setting of the Sun can be interpreted as evidence for the Earth's rotation." and here is the paper: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1008.2764.pdf I am personally not fan of MWI,therefore the question is if it is possible to interpret the same data in other/different ways. Thoughts?
  20. He is really strange and ambitious guy, this Paul Eno .Look how he asks to "shut up", like he understand the paranormal better than everybody how is about that for the starter?
  21. This is something I also thought about, since I have read something about many worlds, and in occasiional correspondence with one person who is QM expert,Here is what he said in personal emai(by the way ,he is not "many worlder", but more of agnostic):
  22. Hi has his ideas expressed on his web "NewEngland Ghosts". He is also author of few books. Interestingly, he talks about quantum-multiverse,and still rejects materialism and promote belief in God,saying that "multiverse is filled with divine love". This is completely beyond me(as well as contacting humanoids-'clerics'. The only maybe significant site I found that interviewed him is Boston.com And his upcoming show: "Paranormal lives of Saints"
  23. maybe you talked to the entire multiverse? Eno believes that all "ghostly/poltergeist" phenomena(or big part of it) is actually manifestations from the parallel universes
  24. Thanks for the reply, pwagen "Wouldn't that mean that, in one universe, Napoleon is still alive? And as we're talking about a multiverse, is there a universe where I didn't lose my leg? Is there one where I lost my leg? Is there one where I lost my arm instead? What would happen if I die in the universe where I lost the leg - would I go on living without my arm?" Noi idea, but Eno states that in quantum multiverse everything that can happen must happen Yes, I wonder how he communicate with these "smart, tall humanoids" that his son calls "the Clerics". Do they speak English,or by means of telepathy/mind transfer? I've read that he is called "the smartest person in paranormal circles". Really? Or it is kind of self-promotion? By doing search on Internet I found that mostly he appears on his own webs, and, with a few exceptions, on other(also having "ghost" in their name)
  25. Hello All, Recently I came across one paranormal investigator, Paul F Eno, who is considered to be "the smartest voice in the paranormal" today and is convinced that all paranormal phenomena is explained solely through the quantum multiverse, here is the talk show, he even speak that similar photographic in different rooms with some electromagnetic field are the evidence of multiverse, and that elecgtromagnetic force ties everything in the multiverse, here is his articles about it: http://www.newenglandghosts.com/multiversesimplified.htm http://www.newenglandghosts.com/2012.htm This is the most "amazing": http://www.newenglandghosts.com/thegoodworld.htm He also rejects the idea of "Other Side" - he states that there is no death, you die in one world but continue in another. He hosts 2 websites: http://www.newenglandghosts.com/ http://www.behindtheparanormal.com/ He rejects idead that ghosts are "spirit of the dead",Rather,he insists, they are living people from parallel worlds Thoughts?
