It's funny, b/c I was sondering why someone would post pics of themselves in provocative poses, in their underwear, trying to act seriously about it.

what of the role of the cell's "timed life". What about the use of talymerays (sp) for the automatic destruction of cells to make room for new?

Nerve Blood Supply
MolecularMan14 replied to MulderMan's topic in Anatomy, Physiology and Neuroscience
no no Im saying that a blood restriction coud result from a injury, becuase of its location directly next to the subclavian artery. -
At very first glance...it looked like a pencil with a skrew on the bottom. The top looked like the graphite, and it almost looks like a graphic that had been whited out. But with everyone stating stuff about lightning rods...I cant make a good assumption...mind letting us in on the secret?

Nerve Blood Supply
MolecularMan14 replied to MulderMan's topic in Anatomy, Physiology and Neuroscience
If something were to disconnect or obstruct the blood supply to the arm, or the nerves in it...it would lose function. I used to sleep in funny positions; and when I cut off the circulation to my arm (because of the way I was sleeping), i was suddenly woken up in the middle of the night, to find an essentially "dead" arm. But that went away after a few seconds, and as far as I can tell there are no lasting side affects. I honestly dont know if a brachial plexus injury could obstruct the nerve, but I woundnt rule it out. There are infinitely many things that could go wrong. -
Inertia - throwing a ball off of a moving train
MolecularMan14 replied to themad2's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
I have yet to read any of the posts (Im in the middle of school, and am kinda ruished for time), but to answer your question, essentially, it would just fall to the ground. It would have to be exact, but if you were to get everything perfect (70 mph train - 70 mph ball) then it would equal out to nothing...just falling to the ground -
Im not insisting that we will find life on Europa, however, out of those, it has the highest possibility. with a possible liquid surface, and a warm core (with volcanic activity), it might have the resources for life to exist. But then again...that's still a far stretch

What lurks in YOUR water?
MolecularMan14 replied to MolecularMan14's topic in Microbiology and Immunology
lol, thanks TinyBoy. He's right. Im not concerned, even tho I still dont drink the water . Im just curious as to what exactly is swimming down there. -
"Does anyone believe?" apparently someone does, but I would hope that the majority of folk here would have more sense. I myself have only skimmed as well, so please correct me if you have an opposition to my distaste for the theory- disproving science.

Wow, I know this is incredibly off the subject of science, but I really dont know who to ask. What are several theories as to Homer was (This is the ancient greek Homer, not the drunken cartoon)? What was his view on heroism (Altruism/Egotism)? How was Homer interested in human phychology- why? Thanks for any help possible

Hey everyone, Since I am carrying all honors classes, I have more to worry about than science (as hard as that is to believe). Does anyone know of any good homework, in general, forums? things consisting of English, philosophy, History, geology (for some reason we are learning plate tectonics in biology class, and Im so lost), and languages, like lets say german If there isnt any out there with this sort of components, I guess I'll have to make one- I might just need some help with that too Thanks!
