  1. That is such nonsense MassMan. What about the evil doers that live and go unpunished? This is god's'love'? It's BS clearly. Why keep making excuses for a monstrously barbaric, clearly non existent being? If God was real then of course everything would be explainable. But it clearly isn't real. I think you are afraid of this punishment yourself and it is blinding you to the obvious. What loving god would make you live in fear like that?
  2. That is not for everyone. I was asking if the OP had lost his job to a robot or something. I was wondering why he felt that way. Ideally the robots would do the jobs we do not want to do.... in practice though they will probably just do the jobs where it is cheaper to have them do it.
  3. No - it keeps it's pissy patina from champion to champion.
  4. I posted in the other thread about the Von Monchie thing... what are your thoughts about the recent translations of it from ancient Turkish? I posted there rather than here... I don't want to get into the conversation of this thread really.
  5. I saw a documentary last month and it looks like they have translated most of that Von Munch thing now.... I was reminded of discussions about it here and wondered what Mr O'Neil made of it. There wasn't any Welsh in it from what I remember. If I get the time and remember it when I get home from work I'll try to find it and post it. I nearly started a new thread about it a few months back.... but didn't really want to start yet another Von Mooch thread. iirc - it was mainly in ancient Turkish and they had translated most of it.
  6. Almost certainly... someone has probably pissed in it too. I know that the Claret jug for the Open Golf has been pissed in. It does get drunk from also.
  7. I thought we looked pretty good until the scrappy goal in the last min of the game. Then it was a horrid half hour of them being all over us and we hang on. Lucky but we'll take it. Those lads (about half the team?) are already world champions from under 17s and under 21s. I'll keep watching.
  8. Has automation taken your job?
  9. I guess there would be a loud horn blast and some trumpets sounding in the Multiball period of play with a man in a chipmonk suit running across the pitch with a flag that says MultiBall on it and the commentator would shout through the PA system... "MUUULTI-BAAAAALLLL" - 5 extra balls would be fired onto the pitch from some kinda cannon, filled with the balls and glitter, bunting and ticker tape, to random areas of the field. The cheerleaders would start to do acrobatics and the crowd would go wild..... ...... stay away from our game of football American! lol
  10. They probably feel 'it's the only light they have' because they have blinkered their own view from anything else out of indoctrination and the stubbornness that comes from that. Some, rather than actually be positive and move on with life accepting that we just do not know the answer to everything, cling to their dogma so stubbornly that it makes them miserable... they then claim that their religion is the only thing giving them joy.
  11. I'm talking about the 0ties I think... the Blair/Brown government - they pledged so many billion to the NHS... but spent it like twats (or con men - depending upon what actually happened).
  12. I'm glad Germany are out. I'd like England to win. I'd like Mexico to do well so we can shove it up somebody's arse about how their shithole country did so well compared to his. In fact - Come on all the underdogs!
  13. I mean kit as in machines and refits yes, not consumables - I got all this from a documentary I saw a few years back presented by Jeremy Vine on BBC2 I think. I watched it with my wife. I haven't seen it since and have not been able to find record of it anywhere I am sorry - I'll search for it again. I suppose it is possible I imagined it but I am pretty certain that isn't the case. I am not saying it was covered up or anything but it just seemed weird we couldn't find it again - although he does a lot of presenting so searching for the program might not be that easy from years back, sorry.
  14. QUOTE: {My theory explains why waves are formed, why we call charge when the quantum is in its corpuscular form and why a magnetic cycle appears when it is spread within the fractional infinite space of its own volume. It explains why the duality and obviously why the paradox theoretically known a the 'Heisenberg uncertainty principle' is perfectly natural and comprehensible. My theory also proves that there is no ether since there's no need for one. My theory also explains what gravity is, since it's the same phenomenon occurring at a big scale where huge masses of planets and stars are surrounded by a field made by the net or sum of that unfulfilled volume of fractional infinite within the fabric of space. The closer to the surface of the celestial body, the stronger the density of the distortion of space. The common property seen in both the electromagnetic field and gravity (both manifest effects of the inverse square law) proves that both physical phenomena find their process as a product of the same incompatibility between space on one side and mass, matter and energy on the other."} You claim your theory explains a lot - can we see a copy of it please? I am sure it will be an interesting read whether right or wrong. People here will pick the holes in it for you. We need to see the actual theory though... at the moment it is random musings. Can you sum it up in a few lines and give us whatever equations come out of it? As I said - there are people here who will help you develop it or bin it fast. I assume that is what you want? If wrong you want to know why obviously.
  15. There is no mocking - I am just asking - what is your point? What are you trying to say? I think you have to state it here rather than request we go to your site and read it. It seems to be about wave formation - sounds interesting - wanna put the beef of the theory here? There are some great mathematicians here who will pull it apart for you. I expect that is why you are here - to test your theory?
  16. I am pretty certain there was an experiment that disproved his aether idea... I am not a pure physicist so I'll let one of them point you to it. All theories need testing with experiment. I don't have time to read through your document here at work - (and we aren't supposed to hop around lots of links for info) - do you have a synopsis? Has this happened before? I only see 4 posts of yours and have seen no arguing. What makes you expect an argument?
  17. Who says we are? Do you have any scientific support for your idea that a god conceived the universe? Let alone any for the existence of such an advanced being?
  18. I thought you already had laws against it. It's OK though - Trump won't do that - he promised to sell of all his holdings before taking the job anyway iirc in his election campaign, so it won't be relevant. Make everyone under the age of 16 attend a 'school' or some kind of educational institution which will teach them not to be sucked in by snake oil salesmen. Maybe teach them some values so that they can spot this kind of charlatan a mile off and not vote him into power in the first place. Teach them to love their neighbours instead of building walls to keep them out etc. His nature was so obvious pretty much the rest of the world could see all of this coming a mile off. How did you not?
  19. That's the one - Arrhenius equation type. As I said though I don't think it is taught at GCSE level. I could be wrong - it has been a while.
  20. There is something called an Arrhenius equation which models rates of decay like this. I do not know if they would have introduced you to this or not at GCSE level, so they are probably expecting you to work it out from halving each time like you suggested. If they wanted you to use the Arrhenius equation then they would have taught it to you in classes already I would have thought.
  21. I was talking about the management of the funds that were pumped into the NHS that I was discussing earlier. One hospital given their wish list.... all the others given the exact same items from the first hospitals wish list regardless if the kit was required, already owned, or if there were better ways to use the money in other hospitals. I can't believe it was incompetence that wasted all that money. One example was a brand new oncology building that was sent a load of new kit it did not need as it already had it all... the hospital down the road had a wish list for different kit (as it didn't have the oncology ward) but received the exact same kit list as the other hospital. They claimed it was a waste because they didn't need the kit (because the hospital up the road was the cancer centre, not this one) and that they were left totally unfunded for the A&E dept that was their focus. Was this one of the most incompetent money management roll outs of all time or a scam to sell a lot of oncology kit to the taxpayer? I guess with a bulk by of all the same items they could save a packet without having to deal with each individual pesky hospitals requests to fulfil their actual needs. The shares in the companies that got the contracts would have taken an up turn and everyone would have been happy.... apart from the actual NHS and the people that use and fund it. I'll tell you what else stinks!? I can't find any record of that Jeremy Vine documentary anywhere since it was aired on the BBC all those years ago. I've searched for reference to it and there is nothing. Someone has deleted it or told someone to remove it and cover it up? Where is it? Vine was actually crying in the video saying that if the spending of the money had been even slightly targeted to what each hospital needed then it would have been an amazing boost to the NHS and exactly what it needed - we had the chance to make targeted improvements with a heck of a lot of money and it was wasted.
  22. I don't really get what you are trying to say here - sorry. The book is a 'signed copy' - signed by the author... God? - It is a joke - obviously it is evidence of nothing but the sense of humour of the shop keeper.
  23. Although the thing with the NHS I pointed out was under a Labour government. So too was Gordon Brown's selling off our gold at record low prices (presumably to his mates or with a massive kick back) just before they quintupled in price. It was hailed as a success - it was a success for 1 hospital (probably a few others too being fair). What they should have done was just given the budget directly to the hospitals or at least asked them for a wish list. I do not believe they did not know this was a totally stupid idea and a waste of billions. I bet many retired or have amazing retirement nest eggs for their extended families from it. C###s.
  24. And so they should.... but properly and without abusing it. There is so much waste it is untrue. That Jeremy Vine BBC short film a few years back about the wastage of BILLIONS in the NHS under Blair/Brown was heart breaking... it was a good idea to inject billions into the NHS at the time.... but it was a bad idea to let incompetent prats decide how it was to be spent. They revamped ONE hospital to the tune of millions and made it great. Everything they spent was tailored to that one hospital - great. They then rolled out the EXACT same purchase package for every other hospital - regardless if that hospital had already been revamped, regardless of whether that hospital actually needed the kit that was in the package they got it all any way at the tune of billions of pounds being spent on unwanted and unneeded kit. It was devastating - there were hospitals waiting for kit they had requested for years being delivered with totally irrelevant kit that they did not need. Total waste and the majority of places did not receive what they actually wanted and needed - they all got the same. Total incompetence and waste of Billions. They should have asked the individual hospital managers what each hospital needed. They had hospitals that did not deal with oncology being given expensive machines that they did not need and hospitals that had already been kitted out with the top end kit being given stuff they already had. I can't believe it could possibly have been through incompetence - no one can get a job THAT high up and be so incompetent surely - I can only assume they made a pretty billion or 2 out of selling large amounts of unwanted medical kit to the public, passing it off as a cash injection to the NHS - it wasn't - it was a cash injection to the companies that make medical equipment. As Vine said in his documentary, with tears in his eyes, 'The level of incompetence with how our money was spent would be highly laughable.... except we could have done SO much more with that in the NHS if each hospital had the same tailored expenditure as the first one'.
  25. David Careron's lot promised cut backs to red tape, middle management and wastage in the NHS. What happened there? That was about a decade ago. I don't see why we don't have an efficient well working NHS... I suppose in some ways we still do (if you look at the size of it and how many people it treats it is an amazing service). If we could properly stamp out the wastage and the corruption then it would be an amazing service still. I don't think some want it to work because they can make more money from private sector health services than from the NHS. It will be if you cripple the public service with poverty. As I said - some want to see it struggle so they can claim it is unworkable so they can make their own money from their shares in private companies - probably.
