I'm seeing major problems with building it though, lightning strikes, terrorist attacks, earthquakes, tornado, the energy consumption. And if that thing topples over, we're in a bit of a predicament. Sorry for the double post.

Looks funny! Its a possible idea though, not only will it help us get things to the moon, but things very dangerous things that we could never send up in a rocket to space.

I have an idea shuv all our (USA) science research under NASA, use all the information we have from those groups to better space exploration raise the budgets, hire more people sec. Advantage: Brings Ecomomy up, easier management, easier to find things, all bound on helping for us to get to space is some way or another (or not; it just has to say so =P )

I remembering watching the NASA Channel on TV they had this big plan that they computerize into a graphical layout of what they were going to do. So im prety sure there are already is a team in the works of it all to go to mars.

First of all, we may not have the technology now but in pushing this mission we will definetly beable to develop new technologies to do it. We have more than enough fuel haha, the minute you start moving in space you don't slow down, there is not any type of atmosphere in space so nothing to hold you back the only thing we would need fuel for is powering the Ship, Evading objects, fuel to get on mars, fuel to get off mars, the plan that I know Nasa has is to send what we need for the mars trip into space, making them interconnectable, the once in space you connect them, connect it with the international space station, send your guys up, and boom your off. Sounds simple don't it. Not really knowing all the parts going into the project.

We could possibly do a SFN based project on creating an idea of how we could get so mars, come up with a big proposal of the sorts and submit them to all known Space associations. Just a thought too get these ideas off the ground.

Human Genome Project
Nalos Surith replied to tinyboy21's topic in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The Human Genome project is extremly important to all of mankind, the uses of its understanding are remarkable. Once we full can grasp what the parts of Human (and other lifeforms) DNA, we can develop new ways to extend life, cure the gene for balding, improve skin quality, we can even start playing with our own genes through gene theropy, or completely change our characteristics entirely, the possiblities of its useless are endless. -
Ability for Human Life on Other Planets
Nalos Surith replied to apollo2011's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
From what we know, none of the gas giants have a current core and are primarily just made up of atmospheric gas. -
Damn thats ugly, wouldn't what your talking about be known as genetic splicing, Im sure you can find something on the net about it.
