  1. It is beyond me how people who argue for an ABSOLUTE REFERENCE FRAME can be thought the true originators of RELATIVITY.
  2. He's going to HYPNOTIZE them!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.oilforimmigration.org/facts/?page_id=290
  3. In reference to detecting ghosts: [19:06] <Munga> It is REALLY REALLY hard to make a camera that takes a photo of something that is in someone's head. [19:06] <Munga> Unless it's an X-ray of a nailgun accident. [19:06] <Munga> Those are always funny.

    Ghost !

What is a ghost? A hypothesis can't be tested if there isn't a coherent hypothesis to test.
  5. When did we start getting the ability to give negative reputation? I just noticed that we can now select "I disapprove" in the reputation box.
  6. You will get a feedback loop. The angle and any change in the picture(such as the act of moving the webcam to face the screen or waving your hand in front of the camera) will affect the outcome. One of the simplest feedback loops is the 'corridor' formed by nested screen edges. Douglas Hofstadter talks about this in 'I Am A Strange Loop'.
  7. I've traveled here from 1988 to ask you what you're smoking and if I can have some.

    Aether

Wouldn't dense objects be the location of the most dense aether field, since they're absorbing more? Such variations in aether density would yield variations in light speed. This would inherently differ from GR. It would actually make much of physics completely wrong. The constant speed of light falls right out of the Maxwell equations.

    Aether

So, if large bodies are absorbing the aether, do they saturate? Are there areas of space without aether due to it being absorbed elsewhere? If you're correct, there should be no light traveling through those areas at all. They would be even more dim than black holes and experience no lensing.

    Aether

So, are there currents in this aether? Does your aether provide some sort of absolute reference frame? If it does, it is most certainly NOT the same as GR.
  14. [13:00] <Gilded> "kleinwolf has been banned for 7 days for persistent creepy pervy-ness" rofl [13:01] <mooeypoo> haha yeah [13:03] <insane_alien> i imagine he's on a few lists already [13:03] <insane_alien> might as well join our ban list [13:04] <Gilded> If only he had a pedobear avatar [13:04] <Gilded> Or pedowolf [13:07] <ydoaPs> Gilded, i thought pedobear was reserved for you [13:09] <Gilded> He's a completely different entity although we share some common interests

  20. Send a light through a prism. The place a thermometer next to where the red appears.
  21. The vast majority of solid matter is empty space. If a Hydrogen nucleus was the size of a paperclip and sitting in the centre of an American football stadium, the electron would be outside the stadium.
