  1. Extrasense, how are the goats doing.
  2. Everyone, hide! It's Extrasense!
  3. The OP was copied/pasted
  4. Thanks for the laugh.
  5. Never swallow the liquid nitrogen.
  6. Wanna show me?
  7. If you construct Newton's laws in a rotating system, does a centrifugal term fall out?
  8. Lolly roffles
  9. And how does your computer model this?
  10. So, your computer models don't use math? How'd you manage that?
  11. You went from talking about how maths don't model anything to talking about equations when I asked how you would model in words why the different waves would behave differently.
  12. We should start an SFN distance learning homeschool!
  13. I said that? Looks like a time for a quote.
  14. Oh? Go on. He're how it looked to me: You made a statement for which I asked you to model in words. Then you start talking about how I don't know maths. From a point of view other than yours, it looks like you went from not needing maths to relying on them. Now, conceptually, how do you explain what I wanted you to explain?
  15. What causes P to loop? Our maths do tell us that the second is wrong. [math]F=G\frac{Mm}{r^2}[/math] Oh, so now you want to switch sides?
  16. Yea, we can't use an abstraction of the universe to successfully describe the universe. You caught us. Why? Can you model this?
  17. Math IS how they are different in reality! Like our previous example, you just said they were perpendicular with NO direction furthermore. The equations I gave told EXACTLY how they relate. Mathematics is the beautiful language in which we describe the universe.
  18. Perpendicular how? There's more than one way to be perpendicular. [math]{\nabla}{\cdot}{E}=\frac{\rho}{\epsilon_0}[/math] [math]{\nabla}{\cdot}{B}=0[/math] [math]{\nabla}{\times}{E}=-\frac{\partial{B}}{\partial{t}}[/math] [math]{\nabla}{\times}{B}={\mu_0}{J}+{\mu_0}{\epsilon_0}{\frac{\partial{E}}{\partial{t}}}[/math] Where [math]\rho[/math] is electric charge density, B is magnetic field, E is electric field, [math]\epsilon_0[/math] is permittivity of free space, [math]\mu_0[/math] is magnetic permeability of free space, J is current density, and t is time.
  19. Zephir, mathematics is the language with which physicists explain the universe. You cannot fully explain some things without mathematics. And for others, mathematics makes the explanation a lot more compact and accurate. For example: how would you explain the relation between the magnetic and electric fields?
  20. How do you think the computer models it?
  21. I thought the constant speed of light falls out of the Maxwell equations. How does [acr=Aether Wave Theory]AWT[/acr] explain the MM experiment?
  22. We did a lot of repeating as well here. You could definitely teach basic calculus at age 10 or 11. I remember doing arithmetic problems in 3rd grade that I later found out was algebra. From what I've seen so far, I agree with you.
  23. Jesus holds atoms together? I guess that makes me all the better an atheist since I tear atoms apart.

He was in the movie and even thanked in the credits.
