    Gravity?

you don't have to go far for gravity to become weak. it is proportional to r^-2 [math]F_g=G\frac{m_1m_2}{r^2}[/math] so' date=' if we increase our distance infinitely, [math']\lim_{r{\to}\infty}{F_g}=0[/math]. now, we don't even have to go that far for it to be weak. just pick some random values for m1 and m2. then let r be 10, then 100, then 1000, then 10000, etc. now, if we have the sensitivity of a measuring device, it's mass, and the mass of the object whos gravity we are trying to measure, we can approxamate how far we would have to be from it to not detect it's gravity.
  2. the acceleration is towards the center of rotation.
  3. it isn't gravity. it is an object trying to travel in a straight line, but being stopped.

    Eugenics?

tell that to the people that do get the flu from vaccination. it happens. they aren't all necessarily killed.edit: my bad. fox news strikes again. i have to stop watching that junk. no, you can't get the flu from the vaccine, but the vaccine is only 70% effective what if the child is adopted? it is not close enough.
  9. you must have completely missed my post. i explained it, but it is far from GR. he is only 14. if you want GR, try: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/General_relativity

    Eugenics?

more than that get the flu from vaccinations. IQ isn't all a genetic trait; GENETIC diseases, however, are. once again, you have no idea about how it works. a vasecomy is an outpatient procedure. you walk in and walk out. they do it in the doctors office. a bag of ice and a few days later, it is like nothing happened(except for being sterile, of course)
  11. i saw an episode of the o reilly factor where he said his show is completely unbiased. he said it was straight facts with no spin. i have heard him, however, on several occasions, use the term "anti-christian" for anyone with religious tolerance for non-christian religions.
  12. did you not read the thread?

    Eugenics?

not a strawman. your post was that eugenics has had terrible things done in it's name. that has nothing to do with it. i tried to show that with the example of god. pros: decrease in diseases of our species decreases the number of children needing to be adopted cons: a few people get minor surgery

    Eugenics?

did you even read the post i quoted? you were not talking about choice at all.

    Eugenics?

so, it is about choice. what gives you the right to deny the potential life of a child? you are the one claiming it is morally dispicable. i havn't mentioned morals exect in what you quoted. and in none of those times have you given an argument that hasn't been refuted. it is no more of an invasion of privacy than immunization is. btw, invasion of privacy is not in the constitution. far more has been done under the name of God. what is your point?

    Eugenics?

As I previously said, his point wasn't about choice until I called him on it.

    Eugenics?

You said nothing about choice until I called you on it. Nice try. I wasn't making an observation. A "race" is more like a sub-species. They would hurt their children and their children's children, etc. So, you think condoms should be illegal and we should be forced to have sex 24 hours a day? Not doing either prevents children from being born. What is the difference? Yes, we have. They get the disease. It is a fairly simple concept. As I said before, morals are relative and you have yet to show how it is unethical.

    Eugenics?

it still prevents people from being born. that was the point no, we're not. you have already shown to have little knowledge of biology. so, you agree with me. individuals with genetic diseases harm hundreds of thousands by procreating. where is the negative impact? it is NOT a strawman. what is stopping me from going to your house and castrating you with a rubber band and a plastic spork?
  21. i live in indiana and have not heard a word about it.

    Eugenics?

see quote about condoms. what i quoted said nothing about choices. again, you are wrong. read the post. it is about health of the species. so, individuals have the right to harm the whole species? that was pointless and not even remotely related to the topic and rogue regimes could inject you with smallpox while you are alseep. what is your point? even if they were sterilized, it wouldn't do any harm. btw, they patients would be tested to make sure before the sterilization.
  23. yes, but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. yeah, i havn't heard of lake erie's monster yet.
  24. not quite. see above.
  25. ok, swansont. they both add to the energy. energy is what determines gravity, not mass. mass is like really concentrated energy([math]E^2=(mc^2)^2+(pc)^2[/math]). the energy added is not significant enough to do anything. gravity is the weakest force. gravity is the weakest force: [math]F_{gravity}=-G\frac{m_1{m_2}}{r^2}[/math] G is really incredibly tiny. something like 6.67x10^-11 [math]F_{electric}=K\frac{q_1{q_2}}{r^2}[/math] K is a really big number like 9x10^9
