perhaps we should implement something similar for this site. could be added to swansont's thread(although people don't seem to read it). and any "theory" that doesn't conform to said standards gets deleted on site? i was thinking that such "theorys" should be in psuedoscience until they are proved worthy of not being there.

couple of things: the photon doesn't experience time slowing for it. to the photon, we wouldn't experience time we see the photon's time slow down. you forgot about length contraction.

fagel came over to my house today and installed Knoppix on my computer. he didn't tell me a thing about how to operate it. i don't know any commands and i don't know how to enter said commands even if i know them. i also don't know how to get my cable modem to work on it. help???? also: herme3, if you say one thing, i may have to beat your face in with a lead spanner.

i think he wants the part that is rotating to be a generator that powers electromagnets that make it move... if that is what you mean, then there are lots of reasons it won't work. electricity flow gives off energy in the form of heat...as does friction. the generator probably wouldn't give enough current to make the electromagnets work, either.

you may need a new fan for that computer.
