  14. universe in a nutshell is old pop-sci. it isn't as simple as sphereical or saddle. above critical=+curveature, below=-curvature. if you haven't heard that the universe could be infinite and curved in on itself, then you may want to try harder.

  17. i went back later to finish it for a particle that didn't move at c. i got a formula that says particles UNDER c have imaginary mass. i was under the impression that only tachyons had imaginary mass. what does this mean? [math]m=\frac{h(\sqrt{v^2-c^2})}{{\lambda}c^2}[/math]

  19. that site is just pseudoscience. the first paragraph of the home page basically says modern astronomy/cosmology is crap.
  20. um, [math]E=mgh+\frac{1}{2}mv^2[/math]. the energy in all positions is the same(neglecting friction which somewhat steals energy by the movement through the air). at the highest point, gravitational potential energy is high, so kinetic is low. at the bottom, gravitational potential is 0 so [math]E=\frac{1}{2}mv^2[/math].
  21. i doubt that it is real. doesn't dna degrade somehat quickly after death? cells break down, ect. why would they break the "bone" in half?
